Very nice motel
Lovely place with great friendly helpful staff. Very spacious rooms and a very good nights rest. My only downside will be I booked a room with a spa bath but the spa bath did not work. Other thanh that it was lovely.

Very helpful staff at reception
Very helpful staff at reception and friendly -pity the person who took us to the airport the next day wasn't more talkative, wasn't sure he understood or spoke English at all.But that aside a good place to stay- rooms spacious,free internet was very valuable. There could have been a ceiling fan in the main bedroom not just the lounge as the window did not open far enough to allow a cool breeze during the humid nights.

We unexpectedly had to spend a night in Aukland between flights. The BK's Pioneer Motor Lodge was very good for this circumstance: they provde a transfer service from and to the airport, and are very close to the airport. The place was ok, clean and a bit sparse with very limited facities. However it was quiet and ok for one night.

Hotel Grand Chancellor City - Auckland
The hotel was in a nice location right downtown, but the staff (though not antagonistic) was brusque, the room was only average at best (you had to stick your key in a slot to operate the lights!), and they charged extra for every little amenity. Most outrageous was the restaurant - on Sunday morning there was nowhere else to get breakfast, and they charged $20 each for the continental breakfast (essentially toast and cereal).

Best Western BKS Pioneer in Auckland
This was a great hotel that was close to Auckland International Airport. Free shuttle service to airport 24/7. Very nice staff, rooms were clean and roomy! Only drawbacks were no air conditioning or internet service. Staff recommended using both the restaurant and internet at the Holiday Inn next door!

been to the best western with old owner and was awesome this time its got new people and the service was just as good, happy to help in any way they can, would def use this motor lodge again and again its awesome.
