The Amora Hotel Auckland (formerly the Duxton Hotel) overlooks Myers Park and is within walking distance to the central business district and many top attractions. Good deal in Auckland

The hotel was an easy walk or bus ride to everything we wanted to do. The kichenette in the room was fine, but they expected you to purchase the coffee. The room was quiet, large and had a little balcony we could see the Tower from. Like most of the other hotels we stayed at in NZ, you had to pay for the internet access, but there was free access nearby (Starbucks, McD, and free at the local mall). Very good value for the money in the city.

Stop to free bus very close to the hotel to take around downtown Aucland including the Fish Market... excellent experience at an incredible price.

We've (my wife and I) always enjoyed

We've (my wife and I) always enjoyed our stay here. The Deluxe Spa room and Balcony views have been a point of difference. The staff are usually very friendly & helpful. Best value for money and would gladly recommend to our family and friends.

We had a great stay there, the

We had a great stay there, the service provided was excellent. Staff were friendly and very helpful, room service was great and the buffet breakfast is highly recommended. We are farmers and the city is very foreign for us so the help from the staff was greatly appreciated. I would definatly recommend the Amora hotel as a great place to stay
