Love Divi!
Our condo was phenomenal! Everything was very well updated with a great kitchen and a huge master suite and bath with jacuzzi tub and walk in shower. We had a private balcony off the master which was great to have when the kids were sleeping on the living room pullout. There were several great pools although the many hot tubs around the resort were more like warm-tubs. The beach was great and the snorkeling right outside our room was the best we had the whole week with lots of great sea life to be seen. It was a short drive or a long walk to Phillipsburg where we ate several dinners. The on site market was nice for getting drinks and groceries for the room.

The beach is exceptional. It was my best trip ever, but the hotel itself is not really special. It is well maintained, rooms are clean. They need to work on improvement of menus... it is rather simple. The grocery shop is totally overpriced.

Don't forget to visit Fort Amsterdam, it is a short walk from the hotel to the cliff, the view is so good!

Great Location & Beach access
This hotel is very close to the Philipsburg, Dutch downtown side in St. Maarten. Great location and very nice beach to rest. Majority of the good restaurants are located in a short drive, so I'd recommend you to rent a car. Be carefull that the traffic in dutch side is terrible during rush hours (5 - 6 pm). Food in the hotel is ordinary and expensive for the quality and service that you'll receive. Hotel rooms are nice, however the mattress is terrible, too old and soft, and the beds quite a bit small for a couple bed. But considering the overall picture, it's a good deal!

Nice place for hollydays
We were diving. Unfortunately the Hotel's Diving Center was unhelpful. We were booking dives in Philipsburg's local PADI Center.

When I booked the trip at Divi I payed everything in full. It was a surprise to me when they told me I had to pay for electricity upon check out. I was at Divi for 5 nights and I had to pay $5 for each day for electricity. I have never ever been charged a separate for electricity in any hotel. Also, when I rented a car, the shuttle to rental car place was $25 each way for about 5 min of driving. It is so expensive. The shuttle should be included. I have never paid for the shuttle to rental car place. Overall I had a terrible experience at Divi. I will never go back there [...]I paid everything in full and they I had to pay more. Divi is not a good hotel. I feel like everyone at Divi is lazy and it is as if we, the vacationers, were the inconvience for them. They did not ask me how my stay was or if we needed anything. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. I paid a lot of money for a terrible hotel and service. I honestly don't have anything positive to say about this hotel. Divi reminds me of a motel where you just stay and leave. It is not a resort. I has terrible food and no entertainment.

Soaked in St. Maarten
Divi Little Bay
Divi was ok, we didn't see much of the resort since we were there during Tropical Storm Otto and it rained almost every day. There was a curfew due to weather one night and the hotel took pretty good care of us for dinner, I don't think they were accustomed to having that many people all at once so there was a lot of scrambling to get all the guests fed. Our room was really nice and the staff was very good about cleaning it every day. I would recommend Divi to anyone staying on St. Maarten but renting a car is a must for making your trip enjoyable.

St Maarten Lover
Fun and Sun at the DIVI
Hotel rooms a bit small but just 5 steps to the beach and Little Bay. The water is clear and calm and they have just updated the water sports added many activites for all beach play. The hotel in general has a nice outdoor bar and grill the main dining is a bit overpriced but they have the best breakfast buffet which was inculed with the room.
