Spacious one and two-bedroom condos on St. Martin’s Orient Beach
The 12 oversized condos at Caribbean Princess are seconds away from the miles of white sand that line Orient Bay. Each of the roomy condos have a fully equipped kitchen, breakfast counter, one king or two full beds per bedroom, a sitting area with sofas, teak lounge chair, and dining table on terrace. Outside guests will find a long stretch of white sand to make footprints. A freshwater pool, tennis court, volleyball court, and bar are also on the property.
Hotel Le Grand Bleu Rooms
- Deluxe Junior Suite
- Each room is impeccably furnished in bamboo and teak, and decorated in warm tones that create a serene and peaceful ambience. Every room is equipped with either one king bed or two double beds, a fully equipped kitchenette with coffeemaker, toaster and microwave and is air conditioned with an in-room safe, cable TV, direct line telephone and private terrace with dining table. The bathroom is bright and comfortable, and comes with a hair dryer and 110-volt outlet for small appliances. These units are all located on the 2nd floor of the hotel with pool and garden views from the furnished terrace.

We prefer the personal touch of a villa/condo like this rather than a large hotel complex. We were in a great location with a very short walk from our ground floor villa to Wakiki Beach, Coco Beach, Bikini Beach.....all on the main beach, Orient Beach. We had complimentary daily use of our beach loungers and umbrella and could put charges, ie drinks, food, purchased at the beach on our room account. Be aware that topless sunbathing and is a common sight and that occasionally you will send total nudity even among beach walkers. We never witnessed rude or sexually explicit behavior despite this freedom of expression. At the very end of the beach is a section for complete nudity for those interested. There are plenty of opportunities to rent equipment for various watersports, ie Parasailing, snorkling, scuba diving, jetskiing, etc. Families and children abound and there was plenty of sun and beach activities for all to enjoy.

Dining tip:
Short walk from hotel
Several eating establishments are within a short walking distance from Caribbean Princess. Some are rather reasonable and some are very expensive. The French side of St Martin is certainly more expensive. So be prepared to spend $20-30 per person for basic dining and $100 per person, including wine, for gourmet dining

CP was huge and the view from the second floor beautiful. We paid extra for the second floor and we were very happy with our choice. Sept. is a slow time of year for the local beach resturants and that was dissapointing but we had a kitchen and cooked.
