Average hotel, excellent location
The hotel is in a great spot for flying home from AMS. The shuttles are on time and the staff are friendly. We had dinner in the restaurant, the service was a little slow but I was not in a hurry, the food was good. Skip the breakfast €14 for buffet. Nothing special. Ate at McDonalds across the parking lot for €5.50. The room I was clean but small, and the beds are low and a small twins. I would stay again.

in a pinch use this hotel
No comfort features but had a big bathroom with lots of hot water. If you're going out of the airport it's fine but going to the city will be a problem. They only run the shuttle every half hour and that sucks if you're trying to get somewhere on the trains. Small room, decent internet connection, food the worst. rm 4/2013

A very nice night in Amsterdam
This hotel was in a good location, only a 10 min drive by the free shuttle, The room was very clean, but not as large as we thought. We both would stay here again

Great value for money
The Best Western Amsterdam Airport Hotel is ideal for a one night stop-over. The free airport transfer shuttle means that there is no fuss with taxi drivers. Once you have delivered your gear to the hotel you can get the shuttle back to the airport where you can get the train/bus to the center. The staff were all very helpful and friendly. The beds were comfortable, reading lights perfect, and we thought it was very quiet.

Location, Location, Location
Good gym with heated pool. Internet access in lobby. Free shuttle to and from Schipol(~5-7 minutes). Train station at Schipol gets you to downtown AMS in about 15 minutes. Helpful, friendly staff. McDonald's restaurant across parking lot from hotel. 14 Euro Breakfast was good but seemed overpriced.
