Best Western Amsterdam Airport Hotel Hoofddorp

This hotel was comfortable and the staff were friendly and helpful. My large double room had a bathroom with a bath with shower over. There is a free pool and gym for guests to use. No noise from other guests, but it is possible to hear the planes overhead if the windows are opened. Very useful shuttle bus from hotel to airport runs every 30 minutes from 6am. Last one from airport runs at 12.15 a.m.

The hotel was located near to Schipol and we had an early flight. Booked on line at short notice at a favourable last minute rate. The transfers were complementary. First impressions were very good and it only got better. Very helpful staff and a well finished, comfortable and quiet room. We ate in the restaurant and the meal was excellent (not cheep but value for money). The pool was great for relaxing prior to a nice read in the lounge at reception. We never used the gym. Breakfast was well presented with a wide range of foods and the staff were helpful. We will use this hotel again when in the area.

While this was a typical "business" hotel, it was well maintained and had all the amenities needed. The staff were friendly and efficient. The hotel is very close to Schipol terminal, 10 minutes or less, using the hotel shuttle that runs frequently from 6 AM to midnight. I don't know about access to Amsterdam itself (my stay was just overnight), but I am confident that the Dutch know how to get you there quickly and efficiently. By the way, the Value rating in my case was for a rate of 63 Euro, booked one day ahead.

Staff was very helpful and friendly. Room was clean and neat. There was shuttle transportation from and to the airport (very convenient). I would recommend this hotel to people who have connecting flights next day or anyone who needs a decent stay.

It is approximately a 10 minute drive from hotel. Shuttle runs every 30 minutes. Due to proximity to the airport, there was some noise from planes coming and going. The area has a few other hotels and a McDonalds within easy walking distance. Staff were friendly and fluently bilingual (Dutch and English). Free WiFi access which worked well. Hotel was very clean and comfortable. There was a decent fitness room with weights and machines and a small but nice pool, which was very clean. Limited selection of places to eat nearby. Had supper in hotel--very good, and decent value. Breakfast was a decent buffet, but at roughly 15 Euros per person was not really great value. Apart from that,, very pleased, would certainly stay there again.

The lights didn't work...I flipped every switch and nothing. That was the only problem. I was just there for a layover, so I got by, but it would be annoying for a longer stay.

Excelent choice if passing by. you can go to the airport back and forward thanks to the hotel van. and from the airport you can travel to the country by train.

Clean rooms, good food, but poor restaurant service.

Coming from north america it was a big change, the outlets were different but the staff was easy to talk to and polite. Stayed for a couple weeks and most of the time the rooms were neat and tidy when you would come back at night. Pool was well maintained with lots of fresh towels.

reception seemed to have trouble finding guests reservation on check in. Unable to locate my reservation until i provided a booking reference. The staff were great as the hotel seemed very busy the night of my stay, special mention to Stephanie who went above and beyond in the bar/grill.
