Terrific choice!
I looked at several area hotels near Schipol before choosing this one. Turns out it was a fantastic choice. The whole thing worked out fantastically well. My only reason for rating "Comfort" as three stars is that the bed was two twins pushed together (common in Amsterdam), but otherwise it was great! Two things I should mention: 1) I should have returned the rental car the night before, then taken the hotel shuttle back to the hotel and to the airport in the morning. The return lot is a LONG way from the terminal building. 2) The "free parking" is free provided you go out-and-back-in from the parking lot each day. The hotel caters to park-and-fly folks so the ticket you get is free for 24-hours. Didn't affect us as we were driving to different areas around the Netherlands each day, but it could bite you if you wanted to leave a vehicle there.

Comfortable, good location, simple.
We enjoyed this hotel's location. It was close to the airport, close to Keukenhof Gardens, and had a few restaurants and places to grab a quick bite within walking distance. There was also a gas station right there as well. The staff was friendly enough, the food was great although a little pricey. But like I said, there are other options right across the parking lot. Parking is free which is fantastic because parking everywhere else was really expensive. All in all it was a really nice stay.

Luxury without BASIC services
Shuttle bus serviles are quite insuficient, both for airplain schedule and for taking the treins to Amsterdam. Internet connection is not free and very expensive.

Great for an overnight stay!
Our family of 5 adults only stayed 1 night here on our way home from vacation. The staff were extremely helpful and anticipated our needs and desires. We had 2 rooms and they tried to get us as close together as possible-we ended up on the same floor and wing, but the hotel was very full and they couldn't get us next to each other. The rooms were large, comfortable, quiet and had everything we needed. Great value for the price! There was a huge restaurant at the hotel, but we did not eat there. Breakfast was offered (at an extra charge) but we left too early for us to have it there. The hotel is located about 15 minutes from Schiphol and had a shuttle every 30 minutes. They allowed us to take the shuttle back to the airport where we caught the train into Amsterdam proper. This worked well for us, but if you want to be closer to the city, you should look for something else.

the shuttle service to and from
the shuttle service to and from the airport was very efficient. However, the cleanliness of the hotel's public toilets left much to be desired. this is true also for the hotel's smoking room which is hardly cleaned.

Ideal for a short break providing
Ideal for a short break providing that you do not mind taking the shuttle bus and train from airport into town, a total of about 30 mins each way. Would definitely stay again if returning to Amsterdam.

Nice room, better than in Amsterdam
Been there two times. Big room, plasma TV, big bathroom, two kingsize beds, balcony. The room was very far from the lobby, I had to take two elevators and walk a lot. You can't hear the noise from the nearby airport (10 minutes away), but some of the people in the hotel was making a lot of noise, and the hotel security wasn't very helpful (they took a lot to came, the guest were still making noise in the hallway and in their room). You have to carry your own luggage into the shuttle bus to/from the airport, the driver won't help you. The rooms in Amsterdam can be smaller and more expensive. This hotel it's only 20 minutes from Amsterdam, cheaper, and close to the airport. I would recommend it if you're only staying in Amsterdam for a couple of days.

Was a great hotel to stay at.
Was a great hotel to stay at. Having the shuttle service was a great savings to go back and forth to the airport to catch the train to various cities. With being close to the airport, planes were not bad at all. Would stay here again.

Nice hotel, great staff, weird lay out
The hotel was very nice, and Orbitz really saved money. The distance was about 40-45 minutes into Amsterdam center. That was a little further than I expected. The free parking was good, it is 40 to 55 euro a day with hotels in the city. That is probably lost anyhow, if you drive into the city. Parking at the Central Station public parking will cost a flat rate of about 54 euro a day. Smaller Public parking lots are preferred, because they were about 24 a day. Overall it was a great hotel with odd layout. The rooms access was the only odd deal. I had a 500 series room, which caused you to elevator to the top then walk across, then walk down several flights of stairs. No direct way. The room was clean and well done. The cost of hotels in the city is so extreme, that I would quickly use this hotel again. The food court right across the parking lot was very useful too. The KFC and BBQ were what I hit(great ribs, at the BBQ place!). There were other choices too, it is a large building that bridges over the freeway. Nothing else is out here, so this really is just a spot on the highway next to a truck stop. I thought Amsterdam was amazing, and this hotel added a nice touch.
