Wonderful stay in Amsterdam

Would recommend Sun, Jan 24, 2016
Best hotel we've ever stayed in and we've stayed in quite a few!! Staff were so friendly, attentive and helpful. Room was fantastic, spacious, really comfortable beds. Location was perfect, quiet street but less than 500 metres to bus/tram, bars and restaurants. Will definitely be back.

Excelent short stay

Would recommend Mon, Dec 21, 2015
Enjoyed our stay very much. The staff was very helpful and the room was lovely. The room was slightly smaller but was excellently furnished and was very clean. This hotel is slightly far out from the centre of Amsterdam but it is a nice walk, there is also a tram stop nearby. Would definitely stay here again.

Phenomenol Hotel!

Would recommend Sat, Oct 31, 2015
My husband and I had a great stay at the Roemer Hotel in Amsterdam. The hotel was very easy to find (in a city where locations can be notoriously difficult to find). We had a very nice room on the 1st floor. The room was small (typical for Europe), but very comfortable. There were multiple seating areas, in addition to the beds. The beds were two separate bed (a set-up I love) and were very comfortable. However, the best feature of the room was the bathroom. The decor was amazing and it was so nice to have a hot tub, especially since it rained nearly the whole time we were there. There were several grocery stores within close proximity and the area was near an area with a lot of bars, cafes, restaurants, etc., but the hotel itself was on a nice, quiet street. I would definitely recommend this property.

Perfect trip for newely weds

Would recommend Mon, Oct 12, 2015
We couldn't have picked a better place to stay for our first trip to Amsterdam. We thought the location would be a little far from all of the main attractions and if that is what you are going for then you might be a little disappointed. But for us it was in the best location. It seemed close enough to the tourist attractions we wanted to see but in a clean and quiet part of town that made the overall experience much better. The proximity to the first few canals and the main museum area made it perfect for quick stops to refuel and relax during our walking excursions and the staff were extremely helpful in helping us find places to experience that were more local and of much better quality than the main tourist drags. We highly recommend the Roemer hotel for anyone visiting Amsterdam for a short of even longer stay.

Great location and lovely hotel

Would recommend Fri, Sep 25, 2015
We couldn't find a better location than the Roemer - close to shopping, the museum district and lots of great restaurants. We had a quick stay as we were returning from a Viking River Cruise but the hotel was fantastic and we were able to enjoy our last few days in Amsterdam. I strongly recommend this hotel!

Family holiday

Would recommend Tue, Aug 4, 2015
The Hotel is ideal for those who wish to be able to walk everywhere to enjoy the sights of Amsterdam and at the same time have somewhere quiet and desirable to stay. Just amazing, the Hotel is less about 500-1,000 yards away from all the hustle and bustle of the City but you can't hear a thing where the hotel is. The major downside, from our point of view anyway as we were driving, is that the hotel doesn't have any parking, the nearest public car park is 70 euros a day although there is street parking outside at 36 euros a day. The receptionist advised that cheap parking is a 15 minute public transport commute away. Apart from the parking issue hotel is excellent and a great location.

Amsterdam in a week

Would not recommend Tue, Jul 7, 2015
The location is just amazing, few blocks behind the leidseplein and the staff was great and very nice. The hotel was just fine and not more, coffee machine was broken, remote control didnt work and the room wasn't clean. We asked for a king size bed and we got twin beds forcing us to switch.
