Great location....but

Great location and helpful staff but very strange bathroom. Actually no bathroom just all the separate parts of a bathroom without a room: loo, shower cubicle and basin in the bedroom which meant that there was water everywhere and you disturbed the other person - style over substance! Also there was building work being carried out so we were woken up by loud banging. Wait until the work is complete before you stay there.

Not Good

The hotel staff were excellent, and the facilities at the hotel were good, however the room itself was very basic and the toilet/shower were not even a seperate room which was unfortunate as I came down with a stomach upset whilst there, There was a great deal of activity outside the window as they were doing work on the hotel, this was not mentioned at the time of booking and we only booked just over a week before we travelled, and it would have probably made a difference to our decision, It was also a lot further out than the brochure said. All in all fantastic hotel and restaurant, gym and spa facilities , rooms not up to scratch.

Great bed in a decent room

Booked at the last minute on a busy Saturday, the hotel is under construction so that will affect your overall experience. The bed was super comfortable, the shower was great, the lobby is nice, the location is convenient...ask for a quiet room if you're sensitive to city noise. Some details in the room were not quite up to par. The desk staff was not as helpful as at our previous Amsterdam hotel.

Friendly staff, excellent location & great service

I really liked my stay at this hotel. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was a little small but had all the amenities. The location can't be beat. It is near the museums and the entertainment area in Amsterdam. There are markets nearby and across the street, you can even take a canal ride. The service was exemplary. I would strongly recommend staying at this hotel

Couldn't ask for more! Fantastic!

From checking in to checking out, this hotel delivers! The staff at the desk were bright and friendly and instantly offered an upgrade due to the room not being ready. I can't compliment the bedding in the room enough! No wonder they offer you the opportunity to purchase the same collection on their website :) (incidentally, I need that link please!). The hotel location was ideal.....overlooking the canal and only feet away from a variety of bars, restaurants and shopping. Without a doubt my husband and I will be returning to this hotel each year! Thank you!

Good location, could need improvements

Great location, very close to restaurants and the tram stops which made getting around Amsterdam really easy. Also close to a number of museums. One strange thing about the room is that there is no wall separating the bedroom and bathroom (just a shower curtain), would have been nice to have more privacy. Another negative is that because it is so close to the tram lines you can hear the tram bells in the morning which can get a little irritating. Overall however a decent hotel

Perfect Location for a Vacation in Amsterdam!

My wife and I stayed at the Park Hotel for seven (7) nights. It's in a great location for shopping, food, and museums. The staff go above and beyond to make your stay comfortable. The breakfast was exquisite as well.
