Beautiful hotel! Great location!
In town for business and pleasure. This was a beautiful hotel with a great staff and perfect location! Close to everything! Walked everywhere, no problems. Great price. Best deal ever!

CAU is right around the corner. Wonderful meal and great atmosphere. There's also an Irish Pub right next door to the hotel. Had beers on the sidewalk and people watched for hours!

Best location, nice hotel for the money
I've stayed at several "luxury" hotels in Amsterdam, and this was the best. Right on the square, close to everything, and not as expensive as some others. The basic room was a little small and dark, but $50 more per night got me a mini-suite, floor to ceiling windows in both rooms, with a canal view. Very friendly staff as well.

Don't take a taxi from the airport to the city. The guidebooks will tell you it's 45 euros, but it's 85 euros now, set price for all taxis, as of this year.

Great location
The location was perfect! The staff helpful and accomodating. The staff immediately remedied a noisy party in the adjoining room. Would definitely recommend this hotel.

VERY GOOD HOTEL
Amesterdam is a place to remmember ,the hotel was very good hotel and the stuff is very friendly ,well trained, always smiling (there were a very nice girl in the front disk named [...] "very helpful and always smiling").

The Great Krasnapolsky
Amsterdam was really great. The Hotel Krasnapolsky was located in the heart of the city. Right down the street from the Central Station and the rest of Europe. The Winter Gardens breakfast buffet was wonderful and beautiful. Will be saying there again and again.

This hotel was conveniently located,but upon arrival it was dirty, very small and a/c didn't work. We tried to upgrade at the time, but were told nothing was available. My travel agent called corporate in Texas, who were very helpful in getting a paid upgrade. This was ok, but I think they should have given us a complementary upgrade due to all problems with room. The room we paid upgrade for was at least up to standards.

Great Location
I was initially given a very dark room I hated but was changes to a fantastic room with a garden view when I objected. We were visiting our son and it was a perfect central location. We even walked from the train station.

Short walk from hotel
Don't miss the 9 Streets area. The Art Gallery area is near. Visit Annet Gelink Galley for important contemporary Art. Der Waag is a great restaurant. Also Amsterdam if you have kids but it is not within walking distance.
