- The NH Doelen offers a breakfast buffet every morning in the hotel which is served in the breakfast room that overlooks the Amstel River. Breakfast is served between 07:00 and 10:30 from Monday till Saturday and from 07:00 till 12:00 on Sundays. For lunch and dinner the hotel recommends you use Brasserie Schiller at the NH Schiller which is within walking distance, just across the River Amstel, overlooking the Rembrandt square. The Brasserie has a beautiful Art Deco setting and a unique ambiance to make the ideal setting. Both contemporary as well as new creative ideas can be found on the menu, which is French International orientated.

Good value and great location
My daughter and I enjoyed this historic hotel located on a canal in a well situated area in Amsterdam. We were welcomed by the staff and enjoyed an easy check in. Our room was on the top floor with a canal view and although it was a little tired and worn, it was quite large compared to most of the European hotels that I have stayed in. We could walk to all of the major museums and the canal tour boats are located across the street. There is an outside, waterfront cafe at the resteraunt next door where we could enjoy a glass of wine and a bowl of soup while sitting in the sun. The only complaint that I would have is that to get some ventilation (it was unseasonly warm) we had to leave the windows open at night and it was very noisy when the bars closed at 4 AM.

A lovely place to stay in Amsterdam
During my week-long EU vacation, this was honestly one of the highlights of the trip. Sadly, before arriving in Amsterdam my trip was delayed by a blizzard, knocking 2 nights off of my stay. As a consolation for this, the friendly and helpful concierge offered my friend and I an upgrade to the "bridal suite"! The room was very clean with a great view of the canals. Although not the most modern hotel I've stayed in, I loved the decor and old-fashioned charm. The location was great; only a 10-15 min. walk to the train station and close to sightseeing areas. The cafe off of the lobby also had good coffee, an added bonus. I would highly recommend this hotel for single travelers, couples or friends!

Bon hôtel
Très bon rapport qualité/prix pour un hôtel bien situé, les seuls points négatifs étant certains équipements un peu vieillots et surtout le manque d'insonorisation, du point de vue des fenêtres.

Hotel in bester Lage! Keine grosse Zimmer (normal in Europa) sonst tip top! War schon 2mal da und wenn ich wider nach Amsterdam gehe dann werde ich wider dort übernachten

Qualité/prix
Inclus dans une offre globale comme nous avons bénéficié, c'est un très hôtel. Les 4 étoiles un peu trop brillantes peut-être, mais un bon choix tout de même. Le seul petit voile à l' éclat des étoiles, très mal insonorisé.

Hotel an perfekter Lage
Preis/Leistung stimmt bei diesem Hotel perfekt. Auf das ausgedehnte Frühstück kann man verzichten, denn einen guten Kaffee und ein frisches Croissant gibt es in der Coffee Bar im selben Gebäude. Die zentrale Lage, in der Nähe vom Rembrandtplatz und dem Blumenmarkt erlaubt es, die meisten Ausflüge per Fuss in Angriff zu nehmen. Wir waren rundum zufrieden und kommen gerne wieder einmal zurück.

Kadulta kantautuva melu
60+ mummoille häly kanavan puolella oli häiritsevää. Vastaanottovirkailijat olivat kyllä ystävällisiä mutta jokaisella oli oma käytäntö käteisen rahan ottamisessa tai ottamatta jättämisessä esim. aamiaisen tai nettiyhteyden käytöstä (15 min = 5 e).

Hotelli oli hyvä
Hotellissa meitä palveli iloinen, ystävällinen henkilökunta. Aamupala oli monipuolinen, jolla pärjäsi pitkälle iltapäivään... Kaikinpuolin hyvä hotellivalinta!
