Close to everything
The NH Carlton is located close to everything. I liked that the windows opened up. The bathroom was modern and very clean. The bathtub was very long. I could really stretch out. The food in the restaurant was good especially the breakfast buffet. I had a nice view from my room.

Short walk from hotel
The Hotel is right next to the floating flower market. It was also close to a variety of ethnic food restaurants, fresh fruit markets. There is a theater directly across the street as well as a currency exchange. Rembrandt square is only a block away.

Wonderful visit
Actually had a coffee maker in the room. Vast majority of european hotels do not have coffee in the room. The staff were very freindly and accomodating. Hotel was clean and strategically well placed in the vicinity of everything I wanted to do or places to visit.

Great Hotel
The Hotel is located in the center on the city. It was very easy to get there from the airport with public transportation. We arrived around 11:00 Friday morning, and immediately got our room. The room was nice, clean and quite big. They offered us to check out late on Sunday, at 17:00. That was very good for us cause our flight was in the evening. The breakfast was delicious. The staff was very polite and helpful.

A great hotel and location.
Our non-smoking room was spacious with a view of the tram line, shoppers and a cinema. Warm bath, well designed hair dryer, small kitchen, friendly staff, delicious breakfast with a big variety of cheese, waffles, fruit, juices etc. The best thing is the location. Situated right next to the flower market, main shopping area, La Place food hall, Rembrandt Square and a barge tour jetty. Excellent. I will definitely go there again. 10/10

Go past the flower market, through the Munt clock tower, cross the road, past the English book shop and soon on your right is La Place food hall! Two floors of fresh food and a third floor eating hall.

Excellent Location And Good Service

In the heart of the City
We have stayed at the Jolly Carlton several times in the past and always enjoyed our time there. This hotel is a well kept secret in Amsterdam, it is next to the Floor Market and within walking distance of everything in the City. The staff are always friendly and helpful, the rooms clean and welcoming. This visit our room was upgraded at no extra charge to us, making our vacation even better. Being a frequent visitor to Amsterdam, we will always stay at the Jolly Carlton.

There are great cafe's in all the department stores close by that offer fabulous lunches at reasonable prices, as well as many other restaurants close by. Also, several great Dutch restaurants (Hasje Clase) on the Spui, a few blocks away.

Had a great stay at the Jolly Carlton!
Hotel was wonderful. It was clean, staff were helpful and friendly. I really enjoyed the location and being next to the Flower Market was fantastic!
