GREAT LOCATION
THE NH BARBIZON IS IN A GREAT LOCATION WALKING DISTANCE TO NEARLY EVERYTHING IN AMSTERDAM. WE UPGRADED OUR ROOM PART WAY THROUGH OUR STAY AND IT WAS WORTH EVERY PENNY.

They spoke English and it is in the best location for having fun and being safe in Amsterdam. Next to the red light district and the hotel has great security.

We were very pleasantly surprised
We were very pleasantly surprised with this hotel, right near Central Railway Station and at the head of all Tram routes. Our room was huge with king size bed and vast area for lounging around, plus big bathroom and large wardrobe. Very well run hotel.

Great location only a few minutes from Centraal Station. An hours Wifi access now available for only about €6 which was fine to let me check e-mails. Very pleasant & helpful staff. Good size room with all facilities required.

For the AUD$166 we paid at the time, this hotel was fantastic. Huge king bed and large room and ensuite, free wifi in lobby and 5 star service. You can see the hotel from the front of the Centraal station so very easy to get to, and just a short walk into the sights of Ansterdam.

great place to see old amsterdam
This was not our first time staying at the NH Barbazion palace. We went to see the Keukenohof flower gardens for the tulip season and decided to change our dates to join in on the Queen's day festivities. What a fantistic party the city had to celebrate the Queen's birthday!!

All of old Amsterdam is right behind the hotel and the train station is on the otherside of the canal across the street

Class Act- top notch service!
My Wife fell outside the central train station before checking in, breaking her leg. The hotel director was the first person to help, got her a cab,held our reservations for late check in. After we finished up at the hospital, we checked in and the entire hotel staff made us feel we were the most important people on earth. The staff helped us so much. We will never forget their kindness.
