Excellent Choice

This hotel is in an excellent location near City Centre. The staff were very hospitable and helpful. The room was quite nice with a terrific scenic view. I highly recommend this hotel.

Great Amsterdam Hotel

The hotel is in a fantastic location. The canals are close by and within walking distance. Many sights are also very close. There are many good restaurants close by as well. We were upgraded to a very comfortable room with a great view. The room was very tastefully decorated, very comfortable and spacious. The hotel restaurant has fine food and good ambiance. The staff was very professional and attentive. I would definitely stay there again. We were very happy with the hotel.

Sightseeing tip: Short walk from hotel

A canal boat tour is a good way to have a relaxing and pleasant overview of a very beautiful city, particularly if walking is a problem.

Good convenient location

I had a quiet room at the back of the hotel facing a small canal. The hotel is opposite Central Station, and alongside a small pedestrian street called Zeedijk.

Great hotel, great location

Great hotel, nice entrance to the room, right next to centraal station, we were at the back overlooking a canal, great place to stay

Upscale Hotel

Short walking distance from central station, nearby Zeedijk and Warmoestraat are great for restaurants and nightlife (Saturday night was so full of people). The room is spacious with a large bathroom by European standard. The room on ground floor is next to the canal to allow for boat landing, an interesting experience. Staff is very courteous and the lobby and bar are nice and slick.

Great Location and clean rooms

Walk from train station in two minutes to a fancy hotel with bar and restaurant and very clean rooms. I am very pleased with the comfort, the room was quiet. I would go back for sure.

The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly

We had a very nice room. Our beds were extremely comfortable. The hotel is basically across the street from the Central Train Station where you can also catch the trams and/or the canal boat rides. Very convenient location. Short walk to Dam Square. Easy to walk to the red light district too. We were very pleased with this hotel. We only stayed one night but the breakfast surprise bill kind of left us not feeling as positive, but overall it was a good experience. We will be uploading some photos of the area at [@]

Dining tip: In Hotel

The 2 of us were billed 50 euro just for breakfast. If your breakfast is not included, then consider going right down the street to your left for a 10 euro breakfast. We personally don't like throwing money away, but if we had felt it was worth it, then it would have been different.

Great Downtown Location and nice rooms

Took the train from the airport and walked to the otel in a few minutes. I got a top level room that was great - it had exposed beams with an open celing. I doubt all the rooms are as interesting as mine. I had no problems with the elevator security, and thought the hotel was run extremely well. Everything about my stay was great, food was expensive but they had one of the best veggie burgers I have ever had.

Money-saving tip: Short walk from hotel

Take the train to and from the airport - cheap ~ 4 Euros vs 55 for a taxi and it is fast. I was able to go from the door of the hotel to the airport in under 25 minutes including buying a ticket and waiting almost 10 minutes for the train. Train runs every ~15 minutes to the airport.
