Great hotel/conference stay
I thought service and services were very good. I must say the rooms are not really meant as doubles with two unconnected people which was our case - sharing while we attended a conference found the bathroom feel a bit open. Rooms was well looked after delicious coffee tea etc and chocs at night. Breakfast was great and the conference rooms were well serviced.

Long walk from hotel
We came across the Theatre Tuchinski by accident it is a art deco ish theatre fully restored we sat in the balcony and felt really speical as we watched a brand new movie it was my favorite bit! Tram travel is easy and efficient way to see Amsterdam....Had great Thai food too.

Good Business Hotel
The Movenpick is a good business hotel with great views of the water. It has excellent access from the airport. Just a 14 min. train ride to Amsterdam Central Station. Once at Amsterdam Central Station it is only a 10 min walk from the back exit or you can go out the front and take tram 26 which will drop you right in front of the hotel.

Very well maintained
Close to shopping area. Free wireless internet. Bathroom floors were heated! Staff were helpful arranging tours and directions.
