Nice hotel

We were very nervous about the location but it turned out to be fine. The train was closeby and came frequently, took about ten ,inutes to get to downtown amsterdam. After midnight there is a night bus that is easy too (even after partying!!) We never got a taxi, even from the airport. Easy! The room was very clean and new.

Awesome Hotel

We loved Mercure in Amsterday. It's a bit outside downtown, but the train is very easy. The hotel was clean and new.

Good, not impressive

It is about a half mile/850 meter walk to the nearest tram or metro station. The hotel is definitely a bit off the beaten path, but only a 15 minute ride to downtown/Central Station. If you are interested in staying out past midnight, I don't recommend it b/c the bus stop is VERY far away - as the other modes of transport stop at 12:30am. The hotel was clean, bed nice, and the staff were friendly and helpful.

Money-saving tip: Not Applicable

If you are there for much time I do recommend buying a 48 hour transit pass. You only have to ride 5 times to save money! It is also faster than having to purchase a ticket every time you board a metro/tram/bus!

immer wieder

die Zimmer sind sehr klein, aber perfekt eingerichtet! Man findet alles in dem Zimmer was man braucht, Sehr sauber, das Personal ist stehts bemüht! Kann nur jedem Empfehlen auch in dem Hotel zu frühstücken, Lohnt! freue mich schon auf den nächsten besuch

Schönes Hotel, etwas außerhalb gelegen

Sehr gute Ausstattung mit allem was ein Gast benötigt. Gute Fitness- und Saunamöglichkeiten. Zimmer mit Kühlschrank, neuwertige Matratzen, geräumigem Bad, usw. Im Hotel ansonsten auch alles was den Besuch angenehm macht. Allerdings ist die Lage etwas außerhalb der City, so dass man ca. 15 Minuten mit der Metro bis in die Stadt benötigt. Der Fussweg zur Metrostation beträgt ca. 10 Minuten.
