Comfort and luxury
The room was spacious, clean and modern. The bathroom was also modern. Staff was helpful when we thought the hair dryer wasn't working. TV had English-language channels so we felt connected to the U.S. The hotel was a block from a main Square and an absolutely wonderful tram system that took us all around central Amsterdam for 7 euros per day. Breakfast wan not included in my price, but for 15 euros a fantastic buffet was provided.

Location location
We got the less expensive double room, which had zero view (of a wall, versus the canal) but a large beautiful bathroom and a pleasant room. Two chairs in the room made it more crowded than necessary. Bed was very comfortable; good linens. Staff was thoroughly professional. Location the best. Free wifi in lobby appreciated. Thank you Eden!

Great location, Excellent Overall
The hotel had a great location in the city. Pretty close to the central train station (takes you from the airport/main train station). Cost about 10 euro from central station to the hotel). Room was clean, stylish and trendy. Staff was real nice. Wifi in the lobby for free. Definitely worth the money!

Great Location, Nice Hotel, Small Rooms
This was our second visit to Amsterdam. This hotel is a few minute walk from Rembrandt Square, which is our favorite area of the city. We recommend this hotel for the location alone.

Great location, clean rooms
This hotel was reasonable in price. A non-luxury venue, it was nonetheless clean and the administration was friendly. Location is fabulous, near the intersection of three canals on a relatively non-tourist street. Free wifi in the lobby.

On Amstel, Off Rembrandtplein
When I made my way from the Rokin along the Amstel, I was worried. Lots of coffee shops. Kind of seedy. But after I got inside the Eden, I was pleasantly surprised. It is a maze of inner buildings, and there is another entrance that backs on to the lively nightlife of Rembrandtplein. My room was small but functional. The hotel was economical, by central Amsterdam standards. No complaints.

Time-saving tip:
Short walk from hotel
Make sure you rent a bike. "Mac's Bikes" is a short walk away and if you rent for multiple days you can get it for as little as $6 a day! Bikes are a must in Amsterdam.
