    Perfect trip away

Would recommend Mon, Dec 21, 2015
I could not fault my trip away! I have just returned after having the best weekend and felt that I had to write a review. When I made the booking I emailed the hotel to request a double bed as my booking stated twin or double. They emailed me back swiftly and were so helpful and made me feel that there was no request too big before I even arrived at the hotel and sorted out the desired room. Upon arrival I was blown away. The room was beautifully modern with the biggest bed (especially considering how small Amsterdam rooms normally are!) and a balcony which looked out onto the department store opposite which was covered in Christmas lights so we had a great view and felt so festive. We rang down and asked for an extra pillow and towels which were bought up to us straight away and the staff were always friendly and helpful. I couldn't write a negative about this hotel even if I tried. Fantastic location right on Dam square and walking distance to everything. I would definitely visit this hotel again and would recommend it to anyone visiting Amsterdam who wants a central, well priced and comfortable room.

    Excellent few days away.

The hotel was really nice although the room was a little small, the staff were very helpful and friendly. The hotel was extremely well placed being only 50 yards from Dam square. We saw all the main tourist attractions from the Heineken factory to the Red light district to the Artis zoo, all were within walking distance meaning we didn't have to get public transport once apart from the 10 min train ride to and from the airport.

    Great Hotel

Would recommend Fri, Oct 23, 2015
Superb location, compact but well appointed room, very nice restaurant, friendly and helpful staff. Only one small negative comment about the shower design it is impossible to shower and not flood the rest of the bathroom floor, and it doesn't drain away. That's needs addressing. Other than that its a great hotel.

    Great hotel!

Would recommend Sat, Aug 22, 2015
Hotel very conveniently located about 5-10 min walk from Central Station when I left the airport. It's close to Dam Square and from the hotel location everything was walking distances. My room wasn't ready upon arrival, but was able to drop off my suitcase so I could explore, then my suitcase was brought up to my room. My only problem per se with the hotel was that the occupants in the surrounding rooms were very loud so if you are trying to sleep it could be annoying. Overall, would recommend this hotel and would stay here again. I loved the fact there was wifi in the hotel.
