Great hotel

We basically toured Amsterdam and its enrirons. The staff was very friendly, helpful and knowledgable answering all of our questions. They have internet (my daughter needed that). The breakfast was consistently delicious; enjoyed it. Hotel and rooms were very clean. Room was not large, but very comfortable and nice. Location was great near everything; transportation and shopping, especially Vondelpark. Enjoy.

Central Shelter

Nice enough place, basics are right, shower nice and hot, fairly recently modernized comared to the rest of the hotel. Not very near to the Red light district or any coffee shops which is a little inconvenient.

Dining tip: Long walk from hotel

For the good dining, you have to go downtown near the Red Light District which is a pretty far walk but worth it.

Excellent!!

The hotel was located about a ten minute walk from restaurants, shops, museums ect. The staff was very helpful & friendly. I had a single room. It was small & the floors were a bit creaky. Overall, it was very clean and had a safe. They serve free breakfast which was delicious. Best of all free internet service. Don't expect to use a calling card- 01800 numbers are blocked. I was pleasantly delighted.

Money-saving tip: Not Applicable

You can take the train from Schipol to Central Station and take TRAM 2 right outside the Station. That drops you off about 5 minutes away from the hotel. 4 Euros for train ticket/ 2 Euros for tram ticket

Good Hotel

Very good hotel, really close to the museum's area!!! and to Leidsplein, the trams are really close so u can go everywhere u want. The rooms are very cosy, the bathroom is pretty small! but it's ok, I was only one in the room. The buffet breakfast is good, not the big thing but for the price is a deal.

Great Location Quiet near Museums

The rooms are tiny, the beds smaller than twin. But it is quiet yet right in the middle of things and the price is right. The breakfast was OK for 10 Euros, but good they had it as nothing opened till 8 or 9 and the hotel breakfast started at 7. Right off the tram / streetcar line 3 or 5.
