Best Western Blue Tower Hotel Amsterdam

Great hotel, friendly and helpful staff, very happy with my stay. 30 second walk to tram and bus stop that takes you into the centre.

brilliant very cold had to get another blanket but then again it was --7 DEGREES the only disapointment we had was we were sure the breakfast was included in our booking but on leaving it was 14 50 per person for breakfast overall it was grand except no bar there

The hotel was really excellent, with great breakfasts & very helpful staff. The only problem, as others have found, is that it is quite a way out of the centre of Amsterdam. There was a tram very near which took you to Dam Square, took about 20 mins., but this was not so good to have to come all the way back if eating out in the city.

the room at blue tower was well above our expectations. we booked 3 star and our room and ensuite was definately 5 star

The food was amazing, hotel clean, and very convenient to ride the tram to city center. Service was poor. Our lights went out, flipped breaker, and we were in the dark for over an hour until they came and fixed it.

Super hotel. Only criticisms were poor lighting in the rooms and the room was very hot. We couldn't get the air conditioning to cool it even when on lowest setting so turned the control off when we got in one night but it took a long time to cool. Unfortunately, whatever setting we had used, the staff put it back up during the day so it was hot again when we got in. These are minor criticisms of an excellent hotel.

the room was amazing, big bed, very comfortable well worth staying, had no problems at all, the only issue we had was to wait 45 min to get extra towels, so best to phone in advance for things.

In diesem Hotel sind unangenehme Überraschungen garantiert. Lassen Sie sich nicht von der modernen Fassade oder der 4-Sternelobby täuschen. Das Zimmer im 11. Stock ist nur durch die Feuertüre und eine Zusatztreppe erreichbar. Teilweise sind Glühbirnen im Zimmer ausser Funktion. Auf dem Flachbildfernseher sieht man auf allen Kanälen nur verzogene Gesichter und absolut miesester Qualität. Beim Abnehmen des Handtuchs fällt ein Teil des Halters herunter. Bei der Ankunft war der Badezimmerboden nicht sauber. Die Klimaanlage hat zwar ein Kontrollgerät aber das ist blockiert so dass es im Zimmer immer unangenehm kalt ist. Teppich und Möbel wirken abgenutzt und schäbig. Alle Bilder hängen schief. Die Internetverbindung ist zwar schnell aber zensuriert!!! Wichtige Seiten funktionieren gar nicht. Der Lift im schmutzigen Flur ist endlos langsam... vermutlich könntenich noch weiter schreiben aber das dürfte reichen. Auf der positiven Seite bleibt nur das gute Früstücksbuffet das aber teuer ist und das freundliche Personal. Alles in Allem bin ich in Amsterdam noch nie in einem Hotel so hinters Licht geführt worden, Das Hotel hat bestenfalls 3 aber ganz sicher nicht 4 Sterne zu Gute.

Im Zimmer gibt es zwar einen Wasserkocher mit Instantkaffee/Tee jedoch wird nicht darauf geachtet ob noch Milch od. Zucker vorhanden sind. Frühstück € 14,-- wenn man das Tablett vor das Zimmer stellt bleibt es einen Tag dort stehen. Zimmertüren quietschen, Lampen defekt, Nachtkästchen Griffe abgebrochen, kein WC Besen vorhanden. Toll wenn man den ganzen Tag unterwegs ist, man möchte sich am Abend in die Wanne legen und dann hat man nur lauwarmes Wasser (2xpassiert bei 4 Tagen Aufenthalt). Schlechte Gegend! Asia Restaurant 5 Min. vom Hotel - Abstand nehmen -teuer und schlechte Qualität. Personal eher unfreundlich aber vl. haben wir gerade in den 4 Tagen die falschen Personen erwischt.....im Bezug auf die anderen Bewertungen.
