Cute neighborhood hotel in the ideal location

The Atlas backs up against the park and is situated right next to some lovely neighborhood cafes. You are only a five minute walk to all of the museums and five minutes past that you are at the popular De Pijp neighborhood. We couldn't have asked for a better location.

To Whom It May Concern, 17/7/14 The Atlas hotel is in a perfect location for enjoying many things while in Amsterdam. The hotel staff are polite and helpful. The hotel is located in a neighborhood that reflects a desire to be both attractive and practical. One can sense the intention to make things have a qualitative edge. I will definitely consider staying at the Atlas hotel again. Bill Treistman

Using the fine public transportation system of Amsterdam is made simple by the fact that the hotel is located close to a near-by train stop.

Atlas hotel review

Stayed here for 2 nights in May 2014. Room was comfortable and clean and breakfast excellent. It is located close to the tram stop (no. 2) and although not in the town centre location wise it is easy to reach using public transport from Central Station. I would happily stay here again when or if I visit Amsterdam in the future.

Buy an Amsterdam Pass which can be used on public transport and includes entry into various museums and other attractions.

Short Stay in Amsterdam

The location was convenient to museums and public transportation. The room was adequate, but needed a good cleaning. The hotel itself was not clean, especially the rugs. The breakfast was very good. I worried about getting out of the hotel in case of fire. The only escape would have been through the second story window. Internet service was excellent. I will not stay at this hotel again.

Needs Help

Beautiful small hotel from the outside. Great location. Steps from train and park. Staff very friendly. I knew before we left that hotel rooms in Amsterdam can be small. The issue was not that is was small but not very well maintained. Our room smelled of raw sewage from the drains. What minimun towels they gave us were so worn that they were one step from holes in them. They were short on pillow cases too. Thier garden terrace" was full of weeds and unusable. Also weeds never tended to thoughout property.

What A Surprise!

The room's coziness and hotel's great location compensates for the room not having a mini fridge and safe. Bathroom is nice and sheets are okey. It can I think claim one more star if it just completes its room amenities. Its also cheaper than the hotel I use to stay in Amsterdam.
