Perfect location Clean and friendly

This hotel is in a great location, with easy access everywhere. The hotel rooms are small and we choose one that shares a bathroom to cut cost. After all you are in Amsterdam....and I doubt you intend to spend time hanging around the hotel! If you are a princess and need fancy furniture and wall decor this is not the hotel for you. But if you came to Amsterdam to see the city and enjoy yourself while spending your hard earned cash on debauchery and not on a hotel, you have found the right place. It is a modest room and hotel, but very comfortable and clean and the staff is very friendly.

Nice if you don't want to sleep!

We were unfortunately placed in a room facing the inside of the square so it was constantly loud, sleeping was quite difficult. Also the room card wasn't working so we had a key that we had to hand in and ask for every time we came in or out, which would have been fine if they had confirmed who we were each time we asked for the key, as there were many staff! Didn't feel safe at all

The center of noisy Amsterdam!!

This was a great location. Easy walking to everything. Great restaurants right in front of the Hotel. Great music late into the night. The thing that bothered us was the all night talking the next night. No air conditioning. No elevator--very steep stairs. Bed was not comfortable. Tram to Central station across the street. Great staff, good English very friendly. Excellent coffee.

We ate at the great Italian restaurant just to the left of the hotel--good price and good food.

Atlanta Hotel- Amsterdam

A great short stay place. Location is convenenient to everything. Rooms are small, as they are in many European independent hotels. The hotel is up a steep flight of stairs from ground level and the entrance is between two restaurants extending into Rembrandtplein. Air conditioning not present and this would be a problem in hotter months. Our room smelled like french fries due to the exhausts from the adjoining restaurants outside our window. If you are looking for location and price, this is it. If you must have conveniences such as a lift, fridge, microwave and A/C, then go elsewhere.
