Staff were super nice and the hotel was good. There are several places to eat in the hotel, with great food. The hotel is a little old and in need of some repair but it is well looked after. Beware of the tourist desk.

Shopping tip:
Short drive from hotel
I am used to shopping in Asia, but in Nepal it is unique. A majority of the merchants there will give a starting price that is 10 or 15 times the actual price. Bargin hard. The tourist desk located in the hotel is helpful but will take advantage of you. They will do things like charge you for a guide and driver and then only the driver shows up and they bill the same price. You really need to have a car and driver when shopping or site seeing, taxis are hard to come by.

Hyatt is a NRP 300 taxi ride from the centre of town, but then you are in a clean and quite surrounding. Great resort-style hotel. 5 Star (Nepal) quality. Very suitable for arranging trips to Bhutan or Tibet too.

Perfect Luxury
I believe the Hotel is very Professionally managed & the comfort of the guest is of utmost priority. The staff in all areas was very courteous. Breakfast Buffet was quite nice & in house Dining too is excellent. Although a bit far ( about 20-30 mins) from the tourist shopping belt, but is manageable due to they have a periodical drop off service through out the day or taxis too are readily available.
