The hotel has a pool on its roof with an impressive view of Tangier, Spain, and Gibraltar when the weather allows it. (AK 11/10) This hotel is housed within a modern building. Located in one of the major squares in Tangier where most of the bars, nightclubs, and shopping centres are found. It is only about ten minutes' walk from the sea and it is literally in the very heart of town.

Review of Tanjah Flandria

Not as stated in the description
Most of the staff were very friendly, the room was spacious but the room had a lot of mould on the walls and ceiling and the paint was peeling off the ceiling in the shower area. There was no pool as it looked like it was being renovated. The room
smelt very fusty as did the wardrobes which culminated in all clothes smelling fusty. The state of the room may have been due to the pool leaking as we were on the seventh floor and the pool is on the eighth floor. The balcony was very dangerous and one could easily fall if one wasn't careful. Definitely not recommended for small children. Definitely not a four star hotel.
The reception area was very well kept and the rooms were cleaned well every day.The breakfasts at times was very limited with food running out so there was very little choice but the seating area was very spacious and well maintained.
I would recommend this hotel but beware of the seventh floor
