Hotel Overview
Not yet reviewed
A beautiful boutique hotel with pool, Spa and exquisite gardens, just outside of the city limits. A great choice for romantic getaways. Even though you're only 15 minutes drive from the heady experience of Djemaa el Fna, once you cross Rose Sultan's threshold you leave the maelstrom of the city far behind. The hotel has stunning, uninterrupted views of the Atlas Mountains and has been built in authentic Moroccan desert style amidst a beautiful garden and sinful swimming pool, using traditional sun dried bricks for outer walls. The atmosphere is of an authentic, exotic and protected refuge. Installations include a spa (hammam, two massage rooms, Jacuzzi, yoga classes). There's also an equestrian club and a shuttle to the medina.
The 9 guest bedrooms and suites have been conceived to give each a maximum of privacy and comfort. All have the name of a rose and face towards a large central pool and the surrounding gardens, where the lush greenery absorbs the desert sun. Interiors combines clever use of light and space with natural colored walls and rough-cut finishes to maximize the cooling, exotic effect. The uniqueness of the decoration extends to the lovely lounge and dining areas where red copper dining trays contrast with antique furniture carved out of solid walnut, leather club chairs and carpets from the Middle Atlas mountains. Here you can also enjoy the collection of 19th century photography of the aristocratic Moroccan owner - family pictures, and of a famous rose valley. You will, of course, find roses planted and used decoratively throughout the hotel.
