You will really enjoy at best the ancient charms of Morocco when you arrive at the Idra Riad, a luxurious cocoon shielded from the commotion of the ochre city. The Idra Riad, a well hidden place behind the city walls, awaits you for a relaxing and pleasant stay. The Idra Riad makes seven rooms and suites available to the guests, which you can get to by taking one of the two stairs or the interior lift (a very rare specificity in Marrakech). All the rooms were designed to enable you to live an authentic experience of life in a riad. You will enjoy an atmosphere of natural change of scenery without giving up essential comfort in order to make you live a never-to-be forgotten stay.
Top-of-the-range bedding and taps, flat screen tv with all the french TNT channels and main international channels, reversible air conditionning discreetly hidden by a carved copper plate, walk-in shower or large bath, individual safe embedded in the dressing All the rooms of the Idra Riad are equipped with a minibar and their windows open onto the passageways and the patio. Moreover, they all have a small living-room to enable you to relax in private. Like the main rooms of the house, they were decorated with care with the materials and the techniques which make the reputation of Morocco. Paintings are also hung on their large walls.

We were in Morocco for 11 days and stayed at 8 different hotels. Riad Idra was the only place we truly felt at home.
Loved this place the second we walked into the courtyard, all my family members asked me why hadn't we stayed here when we first
Its elegancy and beauty is beyond description. On top of all its artistic elements, it was SUPER CLEAN. So clean that a neat freak like me dared to use the towels provided, and felt at ease to place them on any surface in the room (couldn't do this in the other 7 hotels)
Even better, Riad Idra provided mint tea and snack on arrival, fresh flowers, a platter of Moroccan snack and water in the chamber. Traditional leather slippers and quality toiletries in the bathroom could be taken away as souvenirs.
We got almost half price off as a special promotion on here, but we would seriously consider paying the full price to stay here again.
PS) Special thanks to the "skinny but tough" Omar who took good care of us during our stay~ And a million thanks to Karine who allowed us to delay our stay by one night because of the changed itinerary.
Hotel features (5 = best, 1 = worst):
you have got to have dinner on the extremely romantic rooftop terrace!
