Honey moon

Would not recommend Mon, Dec 14, 2015
This hotel is nice but I would not recommend to stay here if you are going to go to the centre a lot of our and about. It's about a 10-15 minute drive. It is 100-150 dirhams for taxi to drop you off which is quite pricey. But the hotel has a service they will charge you 50 dirham to go to djmal fna and they will pick you up for 50 dirhams but you would have to call them. Unless you have a sim it is very difficult to make a call as all the phone boxes close by just take a phone card and not money so it means u will need to get a phone card. If you want to just relax then it's nice to stay in the hotel but if you want to feel like your on holiday this is not the hotel to stay in because the hotel is in the middle of nowhere there is literally no shops near by or even any taxis. For me this was not the hotel as we couldn't just nip out whenever we wanted to and it was to far from all the hussle and bustle. And a lot of the taxi drivers arnt willing to take u to your hotel for less then 100 dirhams.

Fantastic Beautiful Hotel

Would recommend Sun, Jan 13, 2013
The Hotel is beautiful and great value. The food in the restaurant is fantastic - Such great flavours and cooked freshly to perfection. The Rose wine is also very good. The only down-side is the road to the hotel. It's not been laid so is very bumpy and also a bit worrying when you're just arriving from the airport to the hotel in the evening and the driver turns off onto a dark un-laid road.

When eating in Marrakech, choose to eat where the locals eat rather than touristy places. It's better food and a lot cheaper!

La Maison des Oliviers

Would recommend Sat, Sep 4, 2010
The hotel is 6km away from the medina, this is a positive thing if you want to relax, but keep in mind there is nothing arround the hotel, not even a small shop, so you will depend on the hotel and its prices. The road to the hotel is not even paved, so taxis tried to charge us more money to drop us near the entrance. The hotel has its own shuttle but you have to pay it (cheaper than taxis) but only worked untill 6 PM so we had to take taxis at night. The rooms have air conditioner and there is a nice pool with places to lay down and relax with nice music comming from the pool bar. The last day they wanted to charge us some taxes the goverment applies to all tourists, it was almost 4 euros per person per night, so it was quite an ammount, so we didnt pay it as our reservation already included all taxes and fees.
