Not the experience I expected.
The advertised indoor heated pool was not for children. The outdoor heated pool was not heated after April 1st and freezing. Not enough pool towels. Never managed to get a 'free' transfer to town as only 2 minibuses an hour for a very large hotel. We were directed to taxis outside. Food cold (although plenty of it) and the restaurant a very noisy place to be. Airport transfer inflated by 4 x a normal taxi fare, organize your own. Rate for local guide inflated by htel so much to be ridiculous. Lovely guides wait outside hotel and are a fraction of the cost. Pay them the same if you like but the money will go to them not the hotel.

Short drive from hotel
Hire your own guide to visit the crafts work shops in Marrakesh. Mustafa (looks a bit like Ben Kingsley in Gandi) speaks fantastic English and is lovely. You can find him outside the hotel most days.

Very good hotel for a break away
Beautifully positioned in lovely and well-tended gardens with fine views of the Atlas Mountains. The amenities are good, although the Spa is overpriced and the staff do not give the full time one pays for (the hamman and massage both well short of the booked time). Food in the self-service restaurant good but not outstanding - should be better for a 5* hotel - and a little repetitive. Waiters polite and efficient. Front desk staff a little reluctant. The courtesy bus service is badly organised and inadequate: this is important given that the hotel is well away from the centre of Marrakech and the taxi drivers outside try it on with boring regularity. Wi-fi connections are unreliable and the hotel laptop for client use is sub-standard. The bedrooms are comfortable but the cleaning staff are inattentive to what needs replacing (toilet paper and soap for example) and the bathrooms are underprovided. The price for the hotel had been heavily discounted and so represented good value for money. The full price is unjustifiable, and the rating of five stars is one too many. We had a good stay, but to qualify for a 5* grading more attention to detail is required.

Fantastic hotel!
I love everything about this hotel, from the majestic reception, the porter service to restaurant! Just fabulous. It is exactly what I expect from a hotel - relaxed and helpful staff, beautiful surroundings, alfresco restaurant. The hotel is in a complex made up of mini riads where you would find your room. My only complaint about the hotel was with the air-conditioning - its not very good and you will feel HOT! I had to sleep with the balcony doors wide open. I want to thank Yasse for helping us to organise our atlas day trip. All in all it was a positive experience.

Change your Dirhams at the bureau in town! Don't bother to change them BEFORE you land in Morocco else you will be ripped off. If using GBP you get an amazing rate in the town bureau opposite the square!

Fairly average
we found the staff not very helpful. They were nice enough but selective with whom they helped. Our room was too cold in the evenings.we were showed how the heating should work but of course it did not work when we needed it. We did not have enough towels or blankets for our group size and when trying to call reception nobody ever answers the phone. The hotel it self is a 3 star standard not really 5 star. There were cobwebs in. the room and dirt on floor. We had to set up the room to accomodate our 2 children...they had not done this before our arrival despite my email in advance to check all was in order.

Good hotel - more 4 star than 5
Just enjoyed 6 days at this hotel over New Year and thought it was overall very good. Few small complaints, ie night time noise from staff moving furniture around during the night in preparation for business seminars the next day but to be honest this was outweighed by the rest of hotel. Def not 5 star standard but probably meets 4 star UK standards. Make good use of the mini bus into Marrakech, very good prompt service that drops you off right by the main square.

Not too bad
Very pleasant stay overall. The food was quite good - lots of variety and suited me as a vegetarian. However all of the hotel info is in French and we didn't realise that NYE was a set 5 course meal served from 8.00pm - 12.00pm with no vegetarian options; wish some had told us as we would have gone else where. Rooms are spacious and very clean. We were there for our honeymoon so not overly impressed with having to single beds pushed together!

A Great Weekend Away
We were lucky to book a week where bookings were upgraded to "all in". This meant we could indulge in the excellent choice of Moroccan and other foods in the restaurant without worrying about expense. We had read previous reviews stating there were other good eating places nearby but we never felt the need to go elsewhere for our meals. From the moment we walked into reception to the lovely scent of flowers we had a great time. The staff were friendly and could not have been more helpful. A free shuttle service from the Hotel to the Souk/Medina operated several times a day. There were also plenty of activities taking place in the hotel complex itself. Would highly recommend a stay here at the Kenzi club.

Always bargain, especially in the Souk. If you offer half of what is being asked it is too much !! Same applies to taxi drives - negotiate the charge before you get into the cab and make sure you hold the driver to it.

Great family holiday
The hotel is in a good location, Ten minutes from the airport, Ten minutes from the centre. Pools are good both for adults and children, with activities such as aqua aerobics, step aerobics etc. Drinks and snacks make a good touch. Be careful with the food as chicken was raw one night. Apart from that very good value for money. As the hotel in all inclusive the extra money allows you to go out the hotel, we went camel riding, water park and souks. All well worth checking out although the kids will give you trouble in the souks due to heat and endless walking. Hotel staff seem to give priority to french speaking guests. Entertainment at night is mainly in french although still worth checking out. Met other English guests so kids made friends and kept occupied. We all enjoyed the trip and were glad to have stayed at this hotel.
