[...] once we arrived to the hotel room it was obvious that they had run out of rooms and put us in an AWFUL room. It was substandard by any measure and we didn't have much choice of where else to go because it was new year's eve and everything
was booked. So we bit the bullet and stayed. Thankfully it was only one very short night in this horrendous room. I have pictures to show that I am not exaggerating. It is located in some backwards area of the hotel that is hardly trafficked and seems to be a part that was never renovated. There was a lightbulb dangling from wires lighting the hallway leading to the room. No fixture, no lamp, nothing just an incandescent lightbulb. Absolutely substandard for the 100USD we paid for a single room. I am certain there are better motel rooms. Again, we would have gladly paid more to have a better room but there was nothing else available in the city due to new year's eve. I would like to share some fotos to illustrate what I am describing. Beware - Do NOT stay in this hotel until you are shown your room....
