The Villa is a haven of peace and tranquility - the ideal base from which to explore the treasures of one of the greatest ancient civilizations in the world. The archeological site is only a two minute walk.
At Villa Uxmal you will find numerous options for family fun, from a beautiful pool surrounded by colorful gardens to tennis courts, pool table and a charming living area where you can relax while reading a good book or watching television. Within close proximity lies Uxmal archeological site, where you will gaze in amazement at the astounding richness and beauty of the pre-Columbian monuments.
Uxmal is located 50 miles south of Merida, the capital of the state of Yucatan. Access is provided via Highway 261, and the typical drive time is approximately 1 hour.
Our 40 standard guestrooms and 3 suites, each beautifully decorated in a traditional Mexican style, feature the most refined amenities, unique services and colorful garden views that make for a truly pleasant stay in an amazing natural environment. Each standard guestroom offers one double and one single bed, 250 square feet of space and the following amenities:

Excellent experience, reservation was ok at my arrival, they received us with local fresh flavor water. Very quiet and clean, room are small but it doesn't matter since we expend most of the time around hotel. Food is fine for children, very accesible prices.

Exceeded our Expectations
Everything about this hotel was fabulous and considering the reasonable price, it exceeded our expectations! The staff was extremely helpful and friendly and we loved being so close to Uxmal. Our only little discomforts were that the beds are very hard (but so are all or most in Mexico!) and although the restaurant staff went above and beyond for us...they did not have many of the items on the menu...at least not the ones we wanted so we went elsewhere after the first night.

Exploring Couple
Excellent, Clean, Beautiful Small Hotel
The hotel is located right next to the Uxmal archeological site. The hotel was cheap, beautiful, clean and safe. It is very small, but we found it's size added to its quaint, authentic charm. The restaurant is great and inexpensive. This is definitely not the hotel for you if you are looking for the big, resort feel. However, if you are looking for a quiet, romantic place to relax, this hotel is perfect!

Short drive from hotel
We loved the hotel restaurant, but if you are looking for another fun, delicious restaurant in the area, drive down Rt 261 towards the Kabah archeological site and Santa Elena (about a 10 min drive) and dine at the Pickled Onion. This is an amazing, friendly, very inexpensive restaurant. During our stay, we got to know the owner very well (she introduces herself to all patrons). If you are a fan of cheesecake, you must try it here!

Beautiful B.C. ers
Terrific location - quiet and serene
Excellent location, just steps away from amazing Uxmal. The lack of English on their part and Spanish on our part, made it difficult to sort out bills and payments. Also, we booked through Orbitz and the Villas did not have our reservation oh hand. All in all, we loved the ambience and the location makes it very worthwhile.

VILLAS Arqueologica Uxmal
Our objective was to experience Uxmal so the close proximity was nice. A wonderful guide (Jorge) showed up around breakfast offering his service which turned out to be pleasant and enlightening. The Hotel was clean, comfortable, charming and very quiet. There were maybe three other couples there. Food was quite good.

hotel placé idéalement à deux pas du site archéologique d'uxmal. bel ensemble général. piscine agréable. restaurant très correct. dommage que les chambres soient minuscules et que les lits soient très inconfortables. à réserver pour une nuit grand maximum
