Very Close to Airport/Convenient
I booked this room because my friend was landing at the Toluca Airport at 3am. Check-in was easy even though the clerk only spoke Spanish. There were two security guys walking around the front which made me a little more comfortable because there isn't much to look at from the hotel. The only problem with the room was that the toilet seat was a little broken but I didn't complain. The room only cost me about $40 USD and I knew I wouldn't be staying long. The security guy was very helpful about finding some food and drinks at the gas station about 150 ft away. The internet worked well. There was an ice machine and no bucket for the ice. But overall, I cannot complain. I called a taxi at 3am to pick up my friend from the airport and it was much colder than Mexico City where I live. The security guy stood outside in the cold and waited for me. He didn't have to do that! Overall, good job. Oh, the beds are a little uncomfortable though.

Short drive from hotel
There's a grocery store down the road. I would stop by there and get some food. Gas station food is not the best or the healthiest. The grocery store is called Soriana.
