Worst Hotel I have Stayed at in Years

Avoid this hotel unless you prefer to feel like you are are staying at a high priced jail. The rooms are uncomfortable and way overpriced.

Habita - Not the Best Option in this Area

This hotel is conveniently located near great shopping (i.e. Plaza San Augustin, Palacio Hierro), great dining (i.e. Silvanos, Main Entrance) and just a few minutes from Chipinque. The hotel offers its guest fantastic amenities such as a unique roof-top pool with amazing views to both Sierra Madre (right) and El Cerro de la Silla (left). However, the hotel’s staff is not customer service oriented and lacks that personal touch that other hotels in the area offer. The staff, similar to the building structure, is very detached from its guests and their needs. In my experience, I had a difficult time communicating with the staff (I speak fluent Spanish and English). Figuring out the hotel’s parking situation, amenities and other services was quite a challenged—the staff failed to give me an overview of their service and how to use them. The free-parking situation is somewhat unique—make sure you get full 411. The rooms and layouts are amazing; however, the hotel fails at keeping the all-white rooms clean. My room had features that did not work properly (surround sound, iPod dock, and dim lighting). Also, room service was non-responsive. What can this hotel do better? The hotel is inside a shopping center and the staff really needs to give guest a full run-through upon check in. Staff also needs to work on providing a positive customer experience. Also, most hotels in this area offer valet parking (some with a fee)—this hotel does not. Should you stay here? If you are a needy person (room service, special accommodations, need guidance on local attractions, etc.), then no. If you are a self-efficient individual and need a trendy place to crash and have a cocktail in the company of friends before hitting the night scene, then this is a great place to start off. Happy travels!

Dining tip: Short walk from hotel

Also, every Sunday from 07:00 - 13:00 "La Calzada del Valle" (a block away) closes its streets to traffic to give locals and visitors an area to jog/walk/exercise—If you wake up early on Sunday and have an urge to exercise, please check out this weekly event.

MODERN AND GOOD LOCATION!!

The location of the hotel its inside a shopping mall that means that you have restaurants and stores just a few steps away, inside the hotel there is a pool bar at the top, the thing is that the hotel by itself its really small and so are the rooms, they are really modern, in general I liked the place but i think its only for a weekend.

Fancy but not terrible staff

Located in San Pedro, Habita is a 4 star hotel with a good concept, the best: The 8th floor bar pool, the worst the STAFF and the room comfort. I will not recomend it if you are in Mtty for busines due the time efficency is not their strenghs. The internet is free but limited only few sites to log in. If you come with kids forget about it

Fancy but not worth it..

Fancy facilities but lack of good staff, the employees do not fit the minimun trainning for a city focused on business people. The rooms do not have good air circulation, and the bath tub is unconfortable. Do not even think about to come with kids. Te best: The 8th floor bar

A Gem

Habita Monterrey is located in an upmarket business/residential area of Nuevo Leon, If you're tired of staying in traditional business hotels, this property is a good alternative. My local friends agree with me that this is a very good modern hotel. Will come back and stay here.

Living The High Life

The Hotel was very trendy with a lot to offer. The restuarant in the hotel and outside the hotel had great food and service. The staff spoke spanish and english and everyone was very friendly. The Ferrari and Masserrati dealership within the hotel gave me a feel of the high living at a reasonable price. Coffee shop and spa were unbelievable. Great place to stay.
