The boutique hotel of Casa de Sierra Nevada is a mixture of 16th to 18th century Spanish colonial buildings. Its 37 rooms and suites are spread amongst nine colonial mansions.
Each mansion, is unique and some have private patios or secluded entrances, guests do not have the feeling of being in a hotel, rather they are integrated into the town itself, making for a true cultural immersion

Colonial stucco walls, bovedas, dark wood and wrought iron accents, Talavera tile baths, polished copper sinks, wood burning fireplaces and lush gardens evoke the rich architectural history of San Miguel, while original paintings and stenciling by local artists accent walls, and hand woven textile throws and rugs provide warmth and texture. Fine linens in the bedroom are equalled by delicate toiletries and amenities. Minibar, hairdryer, alarm clock, plasma TV and DVD.

- Geographically, it is almost the center of México, making it easily accessible by air or road.Airports in Guanajuato (BJX-south of León, a 1.5 hour drive from San Miguel) and Mexico City (MEX-a 3 hour drive) receive direct international flights. Guanajuatos airport is served by Aeroméxico, Mexicana, Continental Delta and American Airlines with flights from Atlanta, Chicago, Dallas, Houston and Los Angeles. National flights are available to the airport in Querétaro (QRO), a one hour drive from San Miguel. The Hotel is located in the heart of Downtown only one block away from the parish church and main city square of San Miguel de Allende.
