The Zahra rooms and cabanas are clustered on a small property nestled between two sandy beaches. The cabanas are based on the traditional Mayan style, with thatched palm roofs, and some are raised on stilts above the sandy beach. Guests can venture out to the restaurant to enjoy authentic Mexican specialties and live music.
Hotel's restaurant-bar is open from 7 a.m. to 11 p.m. Zahra has wireless internet access in the restaurant, and at the internet cafe. Zahra is ideal for travelers seeking less of a rustic jungle experience, while still being able to enjoy the natural beauty of Tulum.
Some rooms are sea view, while others look out onto our central garden. Spa Services: The Holistic Spa. Now offers a wide variety of spa services. Massage: Choose between a wide variety of therapies, including the Mayan Clay Massage, Deep Tissue Massage, or Swedish Massage.

Healing treatments: Treat yourself to a Mayan healing massage or a relaxing, healing reiki session. Temazcal: The Copal sweat lodge is based on traditional healing methods used by indigenous Mexicans in which the properties of fire and water are combined to purify the mind, body, and soul. Cabanas and rooms have hot water. Electric lighting is available from morning to 11 p.m., and all rooms have ceiling fans, operable during the hours of electricity. The hotel also offers reception.

We had A Great time!

I don't normally write reviews, actually this might be my first, but I wanted to point some things out for the next couple. We read a lot of reviews which were mostly bad and terrifying, but my boyfriend and I wanted to go to Mexico for a week and we had a small budget, so we kept our reservation with this hotel, despite the reviews. We had one of the rooms facing the ocean and the sound of the waves in the morning and night was amazing. After opening the door we were 20 steps away from the ocean (shared with 2 other hotels) We were happy because we paid less than the other hotels but still had access to their stronger Wifi, and their better breakfast options, and their nicer hammocks and beach furniture. This place doesn't deserve the bad reviews people wrote. If you're going for a cheaper hotel, you get cheaper quality, (like sheets and towels with stains, but we also realized that the terracotta floors left a orange rusty powder on your feet, and that's most likely where all the stains on the white sheets came from. The bathwater is salt-water....I mean we got used to it, but made us feel more like we were on our own island with just the basics. Everyday we rented a bike and went to Mezzanine, and BeTulum Hotel, so because we saved on the hotel room (which we were only in when we slept at night, we were able to spend our money on eating and drinking and hanging out at the amazing other places.....so basically...don't spend all your money on your hotel room....you'll just sleep there! Anyone can go to the other hotels with the nicer ammenities, as long as you buy something you're a customer there too and entitled to use their pool, hang on the beach, etc.
