The Royal Suites Yucatan By Palladium - All Inclusive Rooms

- All Junior Suites feature two double beds or one king-size bed, WC, shower, jacuzzi, make-up mirror, bathrobe and slippers, air conditioning, ceiling fan, fridge with beverages and snacks, satellite TV, telephone, electronic safety box, hair dryer, tea and coffee maker, smoke detector, iron and ironing board, sofa bed, CD/DVD player, DVD menu, alarm clock with MP3 docking station, pillow menu and aromatherapy menu*. The jacuzzi fits two persons and is located in the terrace. Premium beverages available in the rooms.

A very disappointing vacation
The room looks nice but the bed is hot as hot can be. I think they have mattress topper that just heats up so much. WIFI is free, if its working...most of the time NO!!! The food is not even good across all the buffets and spacialty restaurants; not much taste even for the burger. Worst of all, my husband and I had food poisoning on 2 separate occassions. Got really sick!!! BEWARE!!! The beach and the pools are nice and relaxing. The staff are ok friendly and trying their very best to communicate. I wont go back in the same Palladium complex.

The Royal Suites Yucatan By Palladium - All Inclusive
We made two requests: 1. King size bed, but we were given two double beds. (Why would they have so many rooms in an adults only section with two double beds?) There were four couples in our group and all four had made the same request for a King size bed but all received double beds. 2. upper level room, but we ended up on the ground floor. It was still not a bad room to spend a week in but we were hoping for a little better.

Stay in the Royal Suits, top of the line if you can, as only the guests in this unit can make dinner reservations. We saw other guests having to wait several hours to get into a restaurant. Also, only guest of the Royal Suits could get a ride in the golf carts.

Lovely resort and built to coexist with nature that was there before. I would give it 4.5 stars. Transportation inside resort was great and employees would do anything for you, you just had to ask. Would go back in a heartbeat! Buffets were just ok but ala cart restauarants were great.

Room was outstanding along with huge jacuzzi tub on balcony! Food was really good, dinners gourmet (lobster included!)... buffet is buffet, what else do you expect? A la carte options for breakfast as well as dinner at Le Jardin restaurant. Service was outstanding, not snooty like other upscale places. Beach beautiful as well, walk for miles. Only drawback is that resort is a quick golf cart ride away from privelged beach section, also resort not right on the beach (5-10 min walk). Would return in a heart beat.

Fantastic week!
This was our second trip to Royal Yucatan Suites. We loved our trip in December 2012 and this trip was equally as wonderful. The property is beautiful and the staff is wonderful. It does take about an hour to reach the resort from Cancune airport but it is worth the drive. The beach is beautiful and the food was excellent. We will return!
