Great place to stay
This is the third time we stayed at this hotel ,overall we have had a wonderful experience . This time the trouble with the US economy was reflected there,less of everything,service ,food ,dink choices,etc(even though the cost was higher than Dec,2007). May be some one will read it and go back to basic ,customer are first.

Great Time
Secrets Capri The only real negative is the check in and out procedures. Very disorganized and antiquated. The resort is great as is the service.

Playa Del Carmen a short taxi ride away is a must for dining and people watching. Also the beach in town is magnificent

Great all inclusive resort
Secrets Capri was a great experience with the exception of check in, the front desk staff are extremely rude. when we arrived to our room we found we were overlooking a parking lot on the bottom floor with our balcony next to a service walk way. When went back to the front desk to ask if we could change rooms only to be told the hotel was booked. Not true, it was quite obviously not full, most ocean view rooms were empty. Fortunately the next day we met the hotel manager who took great care of us and moved us to a very nice room. The remainder of the trip was excellent, great food, and great service. The hotel staff (with the exception of the front desk people) were very friendly. We look forward to trying one of the new Secrets resorts in the fall and hope we can get past the front desk nightmare.
