The Ocean Coral/Ocean Turquesa was named Best International Resort by Condé Nast Traveler in 2009. The resort from H10 Hotels is located minutes from Cancun International Airport in Puerto Morelos-Riviera Maya. Take in the sand and surf from the resort's exclusive suites. "Great times at the Ocean Turquesa"
This was a wonderful relaxing trip. The hotel was very beautiful and the staff were mostly very friendly. Some of the waiters could be more speedy to give you service. It was not hard to get a drink at the pool bar.

If you want to be assured to get in to a la carte restaurants with no wait then be there for 6PM when they opened. By the time you ate it was 6:30 or so and it worked great for us. We never had a problem getting in to where we wanted.

So so
This was beautiful hotel but very different from resorts we stayed at before. The hotel tried to be very modern but food and drinks didnt live up to that. Great staff and friendly people but you really get what you pay for.

Great Place
Lovely hotel in a decent location (20 min. from Cancun). We upgraded to Ocfnt Master Suite with Privilege service which is the way to go - lovely room right on the water, great service, upgrades, etc. Food was good and varied, staff friendly, pools very clean (use the one between buildings 1-7, which is quiet and not busy at all).

Great trip - wonderful all inclusive!
New and well kept resort. Had lots of activities like beach volleyball and morning stretching. Buffet was good, not excellent quality wise but definitely had a good assortment and choices. Overall the hotel was clean, staff helpful and had a great time. Only thing i have to say negative is that the beach/waterfront was not as welll kept as the beaches at playa del carmen. for some reason (not sure if maybe it has to do with what month you visit, tide etc.) but right in front of the hotel beach there was a lot of seaweed on the shoreline. if you walked down few minutes the water was much cleaner and not as much seaweed on in the water and sand. the hotel should clean this up!!

Not Pleased with [...]
the hotel was great...clean, plenty to do, good food. but be careful when you book with [...]! we booked a Royal Master Suite with a jacuzzi on the balcony. we paid extra to take an earlier flight so we could enjoy the first day there... upon arrival we were given another type of room, we showed our reservations with the concierge and we were told that that room is not available. we spent 4 hours touring other rooms on the resort. the hotel told us we would have to contact [...]

Ocean Coral / Ocean Turquesa
Very good amenities, very clean, good room service, flexible - opened Sports Bar early to watch final four, food was just beter than average - definetely not cruise ship worthy, but I gusess that's not what you pay for. Bottled water could be more accessible, coffee shop didn't open until 10am, other than the buffet, site restuarants required collared shirts (which was understandable), but required long pants, and no sandals....people allowed in with rattty jeans and dirty tennis shoes, but not nice dress shorts and nice sandals - didn't make sense.

Local shopping 4-5 miles ($10 cab) was a better alternative than free van service to further markets which kept you there 9am -3pm. Also, local snorkling groups were way less expensive than those thru the hotel.

I liked the resort itself, however the beds were hard and the activity team wasn't very friendly....well most of them weren't. The daily activities at the pool/beach were mostly just stupid and the one show we made was pitifull lipsinging....We went to a 3 star last year that had a wonderful activity team and they kept u busy all day, or just hung out with u and they always had a great show at night. The food was okay, Japanese was good, Mexican was bad, snack bar good, buffet was okay

We went to Cancun to go shopping, I prefer Playa Del Carmen b/c u have a beach right there, cancun's mall is on the lagoon and is not any cheaper than Playa.

good value for the price
Overall a good experience. Very clean hotel and grounds. Pools, beach etc., very well maintained. Good food, good service. Great place for the price. My first "all-inclusive" and I would recommend it highly. Espcially for the budget consious traveller
