The Ocean Coral/Ocean Turquesa was named Best International Resort by Condé Nast Traveler in 2009. The resort from H10 Hotels is located minutes from Cancun International Airport in Puerto Morelos-Riviera Maya. Take in the sand and surf from the resort's exclusive suites. Private Paradise
We visited Ocean C/T for a warm getaway over Thanksgiving. It appeared to be the off season, as we didn't face any crowds or excessive waiting; however, the weather and resort were still equally gorgeous (especially for the excellent deal we received). My boyfriend and I have already recommended this resort to friends and family (and we hope to go back next year).

Short drive from hotel
There isn't much for shopping in Puerto Morelos -- the resort offers a ride into Cancun to visit the local markets/shops (but you are charged for the drive back).

fantastic beautiful hotel great family v
This hotel was the most beautiful hotel ive been in. The pools were all sparkling clean, and great for the little ones. The two pools we stayed at most had areas where are 22 month old could play in for hours with no worries about her falling in. she could just walk right in. Also loved that a pool side grill like area was right beside the pool and the ladies would come by every 10- 20 mins for drinks all day they were great. The rooms were very nice and big and always stocked and cleaned. My only down fall with this hotel was the entertainment. Ive traveled to the Domin. Republic for yrs and im used to alot of dancing and entertainment this way. But ive been told now that most of the hotels in mexico dont have alot of entertaiment that way. all in all loveeeed this hotel and the staff was always nice. met some great couples

Very Nice Resort!!!
[...] I BOOKED USA TRANSFERS ON-LINE AND RECOMMEND. 20 MINUTE DRIVE FROM AIRPORT. CHECK-IN WAS FAST BUT THEY DID TRY THE TIME-SHARE SELL PLUS LEFT NOTES UNDER THE DOOR FOR A COUPLE DAYS, IGNORED THEM ALL. VERY BEAUTIFUL AND CLEAN RESORT. 4 POOLS, 4 ALA CARTE RESTAURANTS (JAPANESE, MEXICAN, ITALIAN, & STEAK/SEAFOOD), 1 BUFFET RESTAURANT & 4 BARS. DRESS CODE FOR ITALIAN & JAPANESE. SWIM-UP BAR POOL AND ACTIVITIES POOL ARE VERY BEAUTIFUL AND IS WHERE WE HUNG OUT. THEY HAVE SERVERS AT THE POOLS AND ON THE BEACH, VERY NICE. IF YOU ARE A BEACH LOVER THIS IS NOT THE PLACE. WITH THE PROTECTED CORAL REEF 300 YARDS OUT IT CAUSES A LOT OF SEAWEED AND TURBULENCE (NOT CLEAR BLUE). OTHERWISE, EVERYTHING ELSE WAS AGREEABLE FOR THE GREAT DEAL RECEIVED [...] ROOMS WERE VERY NICE.

Our last vacation
We read the reviews and thought (about the negative reviews) "some people will never be pleased". Well, we checked in and the room wasn't made and someones clothes still were hanging on the patio. We called and were told to go to another room. Another room wasn't made either. Fridge wasn't working and was never fixed. Had to call 2 to get our room cleaned one day. Not our idea of great vacation!

Ocean Coral THE BEST EVER!
Brand new hotel. 20 minutes from airport. Between Cancun and Riviera Maya. Great in every way, except for the beach. When it's windy, water in filled with algaes. In this area, the water is not cristal clear, but pools are so great (they have 4) it doesn't matter. Wow!!!

Unbeatable for the price
For the price had a nice stay. Enjoyed the beach, ocean had a lot of seaweed that washed to shore. Had to wait extended time for the room to be ready. Most staff were efficient, some lacking. The food was adequate.

Great Relaxing Stay!
We had a great experience at this hotel. The staff was super friendly. It was very relaxing and peaceful. They accommodated all of our needs and even went out of their way to bring us a dehumidifier.

If your room is damp due to high humidity. Ask the front desk for a dehumidifier. It will save you from having all of your clothing smell musty and the bed sheets from feeling damp.

Amazing Value!
I truly enjoyed my trip. I loved almost everything about the place. Gorgeous pools, well designed and comfortable rooms, friendly staff, and all the amenities. 2 downsides. The first, which I think is the same for all the resorts in this location is the amount of seaweed in the ocean. They do have a machine that cleans it up off the beach a few times a day, but in the water, it's everywhere. My second complaint was the food. Not all the food, but it was very inconsistent. Some of the restaurants were amazing, Japanese was one of them. Others were just ok, very hit or miss. All in all, for the value you can not go wrong. I am seriously considering going back next year!

No need to go to Cancun or Playa Del Carmen for shopping. The hotel gift shop is great. Also on every Friday night they have all the vendors (the same ones you would see in the cities) come and set up shops areas at night.

Great price, great service, bad beach
Resort value, service and amenities are great. Beach and water are aweful. Been to Aruba, Punta Cana, Atlantis Bahamas, Cancun and Rivera Maya. Hard to find camparison to Punta Cana and Aruba.
