Gorgeous place, great location, great vacation!

The place is great! The only downfall was I expected more for the beach, but the pool definitely made up for it in my book! The food and the staff was absolutely amazing as well.

A paradise with everything you need

We had a wonderful time. The massive size of this hotel blew us away and every inch of the place was clean and well kept. Being an animal lover it was nice to have cats, birds and these cute little creatures known as Coatis around. The variety of A La Carte restaurants made sure that every night of our 8 nights had something new to taste. We were only turned off by the Japanese restaurant but my wife who likes Sushi said that part was OK. The staff at this resort are cheery and extremely helpful. They are a great bunch. They didn't beg or expect tips but of course were appreciative when they received them. The beach was gorgeous. White sand and lots of lounge chairs, however I would have to say the water still had too many rocks for my liking. I know this is the Riviera but they need to get rid of those rocks. I heard Barcello has a nice sandy spot on their beach, so I was hoping that Iberostar would have the same. Overall it was still a lot better than some of the Riviera beaches with respect to rocks. It is definitely a place to go for a wonderful vacation.

Spend the entire day at Xel Ha if you like Snorkelling and Nature. Don't take the dual Tulum trip - you need the entire day at Xel Ha.

a week in paradise when its cold at home.

Me and my wife are in mid 20s and we visited this resort from dec 3rd to dec 9th. Everything we had to eat to drink or to do at this resort was just awesome. People were extremely nice and willing to do their best to help you out with anything you might need, entertainment staff is 5+ stars, overall it was an awesome experiance. We did Extreme Tulum excursion and it was the best, also massage by the beach was heavenly. Also did Scuba Diver certification and people from the dive shop are very knowleadgable, patient with the new divers. Overall I loved averything and I am already looking at the same resort for my next trip

We had a BLAST!!!

This is our second time in Iberostar Paraiso Beach Riviera Maya (November 2010 & 2011). We booked the hotel with 4 other families, 19 people in total adults and kids. The front desk staff was outstanding in giving us the closest rooms available to keep our big group together. The food in the buffets and restaurants was good and diverse in variety giving even the picky eaters many choices. The buffets’ staff was also a huge help in combining tables at dinner to accommodate our needs. The Entertainment Team was GREAT!!! There were activities for everyone. The kids ranged from 2.5 to 15 years old and all had a blast. Even the adults could participate in the children’s activities and have a great time. Learning a few dances during dance lessons, playing at the beach, and even activities around the pool were a daily involvement for us all. We highly recommend this hotel as a wonderful destination for a vacation. The cleanliness of the grounds and rooms left us astonished.

We enjoyed staying at this hotel. We would recommend that they used more modern music for their programs and more activities for kids.

Beautiful Hotel

The Hotel was just beautiful. Have never been to a more awesome pool - large and winding through the complex so there was enough space for loud and lively and enough space for quiet. Activities for children/teens seem to be plentiful and lots of play areaqs for kids (though we did not have any). tThe ohly complaint is got sick the second evening after eating at the Jambalaya. Sick for days - so ruined a lot of the vacation. The shows put on were well above the standard and very enjoyable. The beach was also beautiful - with a bar on the beach and a snack shop with hot dogs, hamburgers, chips, fries, nacho cheese guac and salsa. This was our second stay here and will probably staqy again, just won't eat anything creamy.

Fantastic family vacation

This hotel is great for a family vacation, it has everything you need, especially if traveling with little ones. The food is absolutely awesome, great variety, clean and there is something always available at any time. The service is great, staff is always friendly, especially the spa ladies at the pool, they were awesome. My only complaint is that we could not get a reservation to any of the ala carte restaurants we wanted, we were told they were all booked, so that was a great disappointment especially because we were celebrating my mom's birthday. Overall, it's a good hotel, with great food, good service and great location.
