Beautiful resort
We loved the resort. Staff was helpful and very friendly. We felt safe and well taken care of. There was lots for every one to do. We thought the food was a little lacking in quality and variety. The biggest problem was by the end of the week all five members of the family were pretty ill. It had to be from what we ate or drank at the resort.

Every thing was pretty good
Staff was great, better than most. Beach was great, Lots of shade and lounge chairs. Sandy beach. Room was great. Buffets were a bit skimpy on meat selection only at supper time but good for breaky and lunch. Snack bar at Beach was good. . Layout was great. Excelent place for familys. No Wi Fi in rooms and I was not told that rooms were wired for internet but have since been told so. Cant verify that. Found it hard to book Specialty meals. heard it was because not enough tourists to open all places every night. I would recomend this place thou. We were there for a wedding and lots of friends and family. Kid friendly for sure.

Great time at a destination wedding!
This was my first time to Riviera Maya. Last year we did Isla Mujeres and in previous trips, we stayed in the hotel zone in Cancun. I must say, this resort exceeded my expectations. The complex is huge with 5 hotels on property. It feels as if you are in your own little town. The all-inclusive part is amazing. They do not skimp on the quality/selection of food or beverage. If you are not afraid to come back a few pounds heavier, this is the place to try out! I would definitely go back. The only thing is, I would have a hard time deciding which of the 5 hotels to stay in. They are all very nice and each has its own style/theme. Great value, great service, friendly staff, great food, great bars, great scenery!

This is my fifth stay at this hotel and would highly recommend it. The staff are first class, always willing to help and provide a fun filled experience. There is a wide variety of activities suitable for all ages, from the very young to the older generation. I am 57 and was very comfortable in the environment. Always just a great experinece. Food is good and plentiful at all tmes of the day and the specialty restaurants are excellent if you tire of the buffets. Thanks again, Iberostar staff.

Amazing Trip!
We were a little apprehensive about bringing our 18 month old to Mexico, but it was an amazing trip! We also traveled with my mother-in-law. Everyone couldn't get enough of the Iberostar Maya! After previously visiting the Grand in Jamaica, we had a little idea of what to expect. Reception: Quick, welcome drinks, cool towels, rooms were ready early. Our requests for a crib was easily accomodated. Rooms: We were both in building 62. Perfectly in the middle. Our room was a quiet corner with extra windows and a wrap around deck. We overlooked the Grand. Very quiet and secluded. My daughter loved the hammock seat on the deck. The bed was hard, as other people have mentioned, but it didn't bother us at all. The room was cleaned daily and all requests (like extra water# were no problem at all. Room service was pretty quick and tasty. My husband loved the tacos! Food: Yummy! No complaints. Not equat to the best restaurants in the States, but always something good and you can order extra. We booked reservations via email before we left. We ate at La Marina, Geisha, El Ranch Steakhouse, Mexican, and Italian. The Japanese at Geisha with the grill was the best. Pool/Beach: Wonderful. Not too cold for October. Overall: Highly recommend this time of year #October). No lines at restaurants or bars. Try the spa, couples massage and water circuit were amazing. Shows are fun but cheesy. My daughter LOVED the carosel. Venture over to Del Mar and Beach and be sure to walk the grounds...so much to see. Conclusion: Yes, it is HUGE. So you have to walk. That was great for us...if you don't want a large resort...pick another place, if you are excited to see beautiful scenery and grounds, have friendly service, and enjoy relaxing...this is perfect. We will return!

Great time!
I was totally surprised with this resort after seeing so many negative reviews. the location is perfect. The rooms were very clean, the staff was great. The only thing I can say I wish was better was the buffet food. if you can put up with that then you'll have a great time. We were a large group there for a wedding and i'm still wishing we were back in the pool sipping on daiquiris.

Great place to vacation
My husband and I really liked the place. It is family oriented as well as very nice and fun for all ages. The food was excellent! The only thing that we didn't like was that there is no free Wi-Fi... you have to buy it and use it all at once... ex. if you buy 15 minutes of internet, you have to use them all the first time you log in... other then that, everything was absolutely awesome!!!
