Hotel Posada 06 has the following rooms available: 4 Suites rooms with 2 queen size beds 4 Standard rooms with 1 queen size bed plus a 1 single bed 4 Standard rooms with 1 queen size bed All rooms are spacious and comfortable with a private patio or terrace.
All rooms have: private bathroom, hot and cold water, air-conditioning, fan, purified drinking water, daily room cleaning, shampoo - shower gel - Soap, refrigerator, room safe, TV, free Wi-Fi internet access, machine to make tea or coffee. The cost of the room includes: swimming pool with hydro massage, 24-hour security, local tax, parking outside the hotel. The hotel offers airport transfer at cost. REMARKS: Hotel has a private carrier, very comfortable machines, and for directly from Cancun to the Hotel, paid. If you want private transportation must send the hotel the flight number, airline, city of departure and arrival time at Cancun. The hotel also offers reception.

It is the only archeological site to be found on the sea. It is about 62,14 miles south of the airport of Cancun and 40,39 miles from Playa del Carmen, a fun-filled seaside resort.

Nice spot
Not on the beach but close to shopping, restaurants and car rental. Cozy and generally quiet. Friendly staff, clean and new rooms. Very nice.

The hotel is just okay. My girlfriend and I really don't understand why it gets such great reviews on other travel sites. We had a nice 3-day stay there, but for the price, I would have expected better in town. First, I would describe the room as Zen minimalist, with an emphasis on minimalist. The air-conditioning and warm shower were blessings, but everything else left much to be desired. The pool is more for show than for use. Prepare yourself for the morning rooster alarm clock. The hotel is right next door to a shanty so you really experience authentic Mexico. FYI- The rooster doesn't know to shut off until after about an hour and a half. Also, the hotel provides only one very tiny trash can and your expected to put not only your regular trash but also your personal cleanings in there as well (no toilet paper down the toilet). I understand the environmental reasons, but it would have been nice to have a second trash can just for that. -- And, yes, that's my fault for not asking for a second one. As you can imagine, the shanty next door is kind of indicative of the neighborhood. One nice thing is that your just a short walk from the main drag in town where you'll find plenty of small shops and great little restaurants. The hotel staff can provide you with some great restaurant choices. The service and food at El Capitan were pretty good. There's another place that has a band playing in the evenings that has great Mexican fare as well as a great American-style pancake, eggs, and bacon breakfast if you get homesick. Now keep in mind that this hotel is quite far from the beaches. Even with the bicycles that they offer, you still have quite the ride to get to the sand. We had a car and even with that it took us a good 15 minutes to get to the beach they recommended. All in all, it's really only an average hotel with some Zen style. I wish I had an alternative to offer you, but if anything let this review serve as a heads-up. Happy travels.
