Dreams Tulum Resort and Spa transports guests to a utopia of flourishing gardens, soft sand beaches and high-caliber accommodations. Marble flooring is soothing underfoot as you step out of the Tulum heat, while the modern Mexican hotel decor and ocean- or garden-facing rooms allow for meditative nature-watching. Rejuvenate your skin with treatments at the spa - from facials to exfoliations and massages - before sampling local Mexican dishes at El Patio, one of the hotel's exquisite restaurants. Romantic and indulgent, this resort is great for honeymooners, though the Explorer's Club ensures that little ones also have plenty to do (restrictions apply).

The only good thing about this resort is the beach! The beach is beautiful... The rest of the resort is very modest comparing to other resorts in Mexico... Variety of food is poor, the buffet is overcrowded ( had to wait in line 20-25 min to get two fried eggs)... Night life entertainment is a joke... Staff is trying to be friendly and professional but not there yet.. I trusted apple vacation rating of six golden apples where I would rate it 3 to 4 red apples... Considering the variety of very good and excellent resorts in that area, for about the same price ,I would not recommend this resort at all.

First time to a resort. Very good choice. The grounds/gardens are kept very well. The room was clean and kept clean. The service personel are very very friendly. The restaurants/service and food were very good. The beach is rocky getting in and the area for swimming is small. Bring water shoes. Still the beach/water are beautiful. They have two pools, but I did not use since I wanted beach! Entertainment was enjoyed. This resort is a little more pricer than other options, but I was satisfied with the trip. It is in a secluded area which meant staying at the resort, but the resort has so much to offer. We did take a short trip (use Collectivo at road) to the Tulum Ruins/Tulum Beaches/Tulum town per ourselves.

Did not eat at Bordeax, but all other restaurants where very good for the level of dining venue. The Italian restaurant Portofino was excellent. I was also very satisfied with the buffet restaurant World Cafe for breakfast and also for dinner. House wines are good. One meal I purchased a Mexican wine and enjoyed. Get your morning jolt of coffee at Coco Cafe. Get a smoothie at Smoothie Bar for afternoon.

Very nice place

We traveled with two children under 3 years old. The hotel is quite large, so a stroller is a must. There were a lot of amenities that we didn't even use, but would have if our kids were a bit older. The pools were great for small children. They have an adventurer program which would be amazing if our kids were old enough. There were pictures of a splash pad and playground, which I was assuming were open to everyone, but it was locked up and only for the adventurer program I guess. That was a little disappointing. Food was good. Drinks were awesome. View was amazing. Super close to the ruins!

Great Family Spring Break Vacation

This was our first trip taking the kids to Mexico and it was everything we could have asked for. The rooms, restaurants, staff, beach, and activities were great. The only suggestions would be more lounge chairs, better poolside music and activities. Would definitely go back!!!

Great Location and Exceptional Staff

This is a beautiful location. The Beach is great - snorkeling and diving available through the hotel. Plenty of beach chairs, bars, food and waiters nearby. The staff were all VERY friendly and warm. Never a frown - always accommodating. The food was good. Breakfast great. Lunch - lots of very good options. Dinner one night in the French place was outstanding (paid the extra $40 for the huge lobster platter thing) but the other dinners ( Asian, Seaside Grill, Italian) were average. I will definitely go back!

Excellence in nearly everything.

This is a beautiful location and worth the time to get to from the Cancun Airport. The staff are all very attentive and pleasant, The food was very good with very few items being marginal. That is saying a lot when we ate nearly every meal for a week there! The French restaurant was not great, but all of the others were wonderful. The grounds keepers were always touching up the landscaping and keeping the buildings tidy and clean. I was a bit surprised on a couple of louder and longer evenings of entertainment. Just not my thing and I was not expecting that all the way down to Tulum. It wasn't that bad, just surprising in an otherwise quite location. They are fairly aggressive about talking to you about their "Travel Club" which I was a bit annoyed by. They did get the hint after a while though. Would we go back? Oh, yeah, loved the place and the people.
