First time in Tulum
My husband and I traveled to Tulum last week and stayed at BeTulum. The hotel was so beautiful and classy. The staff were all super friendly and helpful. It surpassed our expectations and judging from the other hotels around Tulum, we chose the best one to stay at. We hope to return again since there's so much do to that we couldn't fit into one trip.

Best honeymoon
We wanted a honeymoon far from the massive and crowded resorts, but where we could also find things to do. Tulum was a very smart choice, with lots of good restaurants, monuments and archeological sites not that far away, cenotes, and the most exclusive beaches. We traveled during the off peek season and we were very lucky with the weather. We couldn't pick a better hotel: the beautiful decoration of the rooms, excellent amenities, good restaurant, paradisiacal beach and friendly staff made our honey moon the best experience we could ever ask.

Bring cash since most of the restaurants don't accept credit cards. If you are planning to explore the region I recommend renting a car.

romantic with all the right amenities
The best romantic hotel we've ever stayed at and we travel a lot. it has all the right amenities--no mini-bar or television, but an outdoor shower, floor to ceiling windows, a private patio surrounded by jungle, and a jacuzzi just off the patio. Staff was warm and attentive, everything we needed was provided immediately. quiet and relaxing

Although it is a high-end boutique hotel, the food was very affordable as well as being delicious. The burger and ceviche at lunch are the best!

Outstanding staff, Exceptional beaches
BeTulum is Great. The staff is prompt, courteous, and just down right nice. No arrogance! First class place w/o the attitude. If they keep up the good work, "you will never be able to get a room there". The hotel is very well styled for the time, modern but rustic, full of beautiful wood. The beach is powder white sand and goes on forever. If you are looking for some place to just slip away this is the place.

Relaxing vacation in a beautiful setting
We stayed at BE Tulum for 5 nights in June 2010 and it was wonderful overall. The rooms were gorgeous and very modern. The staff were all very helpful and kind. They took care of everything that you could need, from room service and housekeeping to setting up an in room massage, which was also great and highly recommended. We ate at the restaurant a couple of times for breakfast and lunch and the food was very good. The food and drinks were a little bit pricier than nearby hotels but very tasty nonetheless. The bar also could have stayed open a little bit later. The beach was absolutely gorgeous and probably one of the nicest I'd ever been too, if not the nicest. You're pretty far off the beaten path so it is very relaxing and quiet. There are also nice beds on the beach to lay on as well as beach chairs if you want to relax a bit in the shade, which came in helpful in the hot summer sun. Overall, the hotel was very nice and we would definitely go back for a return visit, probably not at the height of summer though. There are plenty of great dining options nearby and the setting is perfect. The amenities including AC and wireless internet offered at the hotel make it one of the nicest in Tulum from everything we saw.
