great vacation!
Villa del Palmar was a very confortable, a beautiful place to be on your vacation. The food is excellent and the rooms are clean and larger than in many other hotels we've been. On feture a liked a lot was the fact that there was a kichenett in the room, with small refrigerator, microwave and provided with anything you need to make your breakfast, lunch or even a light dinner if you don't to eat out every time.

Great Staff
The staff at this hotel go above and beyond to make your stay perfect. The front desk went above and beyond to ensure we had the exact suite that we wanted. All of the staff that I interacted with made the stay all the more special. I would highly recommend this hotel. The two bedroom suites are perfect for travelers that have different plans and you can have all of the privacy that you need, even when traveling with others. Location is convenient to everything!!!

Very family friendly
The rooms here have kitchenettes, if you care to eat in. The pool here is the best in PV proper.

Great location
This was our first stay at Villa Del Palmar and our first time to PV. It is in a great location, within walking distance to most everything. I had considered staying in Nuevo Viallarta and I was glad we didn't. It is too far out of town! I think we would have spent a fortune on taxies. The resort was nice enought although the rooms were a little date. The maintenance crew was constantly painting, cleaning etc while we were there but not in a disruptive way. They work very hard to keep the property looking good. The only thing that was disappointing about PV is that many of the resorts are all inclusive. We enjoy walking on the beach and stopping to have drinks, dinner, etc but we were refused service TWICE because we were not staying at that particular resort! The beach is nice and you can walk a good distance in both directions. If/when we return to PV we will definitely look into staying at Villa Del Palmar again.

friendly and helpful staff
Had a great time(again) Villa Del Palmar is a great place to stay...moderate prices & good food & drinks. Found the all inclusive the only way to go. Close to centro & easy to get to most anywhere inexpensively. The staff was friendly & very helpful. Planning another trip to PV & will stay there again.

Perfect Vacation
We took our niece to Puerto Vallarta for her high school graduation. My husband and I have been many times - this was her first. We decided on the one bedroom suite so we could all have our own space. We hadn't stayed here before but after reading the reviews I decided we would give it a try. This is an older property but very clean and well maintained. It was PERFECT for the three of us and we will stay here again on future visits. My husband and I had our own bedroom, the bathroom was in the hall and our niece had her own space in the den area. The sofa pulled out. The first day we went to the store and got popcorn, sodas, beer, water, chips, cookies and snacks to hold us over if we got hungry. The restaurants on the property were pretty expensive so I would say if you are planning on eating at the property to go with the all-inclusive but we like to eat at different places in PV so we only ate a couple of meals there anyway. We did do the timeshare tour and got a couple of really good tours in exchange. I had read that they really pressure you to go so I just figured lets do it and get it over with and then they won't bother us anymore. It was actually enjoyable and they provided us with a nice breakfast, paid the majority of the booze cruise, and gave us a jungle tour in exchange for the 90 minutes of talk. They are pretty high pressure so just be firm and let them know that you are not going to buy a timeshare. We ate at EL SET (very nice gorgeous sunset on the south side) and Si Senior (very good food -downtown. As I said we did not have any complaints with our room. It was PERFECT for the price.

Great trip
The Villa Del Palmar was great place to stay. We upgraded to a one bedroom, which was a great choice. Great ocean view and views of both pools. The service staff was very friendly and service was excellent. The hotel is just a short bus ride to any where in P.V. for 50 cents or a cab for $4.00. We will come back had a great time.
