Sheraton Buganvilias Resort & Convention Center

i have been to other beaches in mexico and they are some what all alike but puerto vallarta is just better.the sheraton is in vallarta my faborite now. is close to everything and has great staff. the reception crew is the most educated and understanding there is.. thanks for a great time. wait staff you separate your self from best, youre that much better. thanks

This is the second time I have stayed here and would highly recomend it IF you can get it for a 3 or 3.5 star price. Their beach was ruined by the last hurricane and is now very rocky so its difficult to actually swim in the ocean; but plenty of area to lay near the ocean and their pools are very nice. Probably one of the nicest hotels but don't overpay!

The mix of All Inclusive and Non, makes it uncomfortable for those that pay All Inclusive. The constant scrutiny and cheap items add to the frustration. Additionally, staff will ignore and delay your order over a person that is Non Exclusive(?) ? Well, this is due to them expecting a tip from them and not us. I always tip even when I pay for All Inclusive, however I don't tip when someone ignores or delays my order. At the end of the day, I went for a wedding and the wedding was flawless, which helped to lessen the blow.

WE HAD SUCH A GOOD TIME, CORDINATORS FOR THE WEDDING DID A VERY GOOD JOB, AND AL THE STAFF TOO!!!

We prefer smaller, more authentic hotels when in Mexico, but for a large chain it was nice. The major disappointment was that with our room booking we were to receive a $100 credit. (Paid more per night to get it) What we received was $100 worth of coupons at various locations in the hotel. (ex- spend $65 at the gift shop and get $10 off) We weren't able to use any of them. So Beware! The promotion is NOT a credit.

The Sheraton was very nice. Hotel staff was friendly and attentive. The grounds are beautiful, rooms clean and beds comfy. I'd recommend keeping the music on all day at the pools. I think it turns off daily at 5pm! It's more festive and lively with the music playing. It was the perfect spot to walk over to watch professional beach volleyball!

I arrived on a weekend that was a Mexican holiday and it was as if I had arrived during the US version of spring break. The hotel bars and restaurants had lines and wait times to get food and drinks. The hotel tried their best to accommodate but you could tell they were strained. Overall, this is a good hotel and location if you want to go into town.

My stay at the Sheraton buganvilias was awesome. The staff was friendly and very helpfull. The bar at the side of the pool was great except that you have to be lucky or patient to get a chair. Our ocean view room was very nice and the room service was always available. my only complaint is a fee of 50 pesos everytime you order room service. Overall my enjoyed my stay very much and would recommend it to anyone.

I knew it was going to be great from the moment I set foot on the hotel. As I looked up I was able to see the view of the pool then the ocean. The hotels landscaping was amazing. The staff was excellent, everyone there was very nice and accommodating. They wouldn't even let me move a finger. At the restaurants, as soon as I reached for something the waiters were already there handing it to me. The food was very good, breakfast was always buffet style. They had a variety of food. From hand made tortillas to sausage links. The hotel offered two pools, both with a swim up bar. I highly recommend the tamarindo margaritas, those are the best…I highly recommend this place..

Our trip was for medical reasons. We only stayed 2 nights. The staff was excellent, so helpful and friendly. The restaurant and bar were terrific. We had everything we needed. It has been many years since we traveled to PV as a tourist as we lived there for 12 years. I can say it was a wonderful stay and as we will be going back at least one time a year, the Sheraton Bouganvillas is where we will stay!
