All suites accommodations overlooking Pacific Blue waters and relaxing beach. All guest rooms have 24-hour room service, secret box, Ipod dock, satellite cable television, mini-bar refreshed daily and superior amenities. Activities abound - you'll find unique daytime activities and entertainment, water sports and a fitness center, as well as a number of excellent a la carte restaurants and lounges with live entertainment. To unwind there are crystalline infinity pools (one for adults only), gourmet restaurants, and friendly bars and lounges. Impressive Facility
We booked an early stay at the newly opened Now Amber resort. From check in to check out, we had a lovely time. The hotel wasn't full (probably less than 25% capacity), so the true test will be when it is busy. However, from Andres at check in and check out to our pool waiter, Fernando(?), the room maid, Rosa, and the friendly gate staff, we were delighted with the hotel. The many restaurants at the hotel and the next-door property were excellent. The only wait we had was at the Mexican restaurant where they were serving a wedding party, so that was probably the reason. Otherwise top marks for attention, presentation of food, and variety. I also took advantage of the next-door Secrets spa and had a wonderful pedicure from Rosa. The facilities there are beautiful. I had read earlier reviews of complaints about being bothered by time share people, but the hotel has taken note of this, because we were not harrassed at all. Also some had complained of the hard beds. They are firm, but I prefer them that way, and I slept very well. Although firm, they are of good quality. The design of the rooms and bathrooms is creative, and the products used throughout are of high quality. I would definitely return to this hotel again. The location is beautiful (did hear of people getting tar on their feet from walking on the beach), the pools are beautiful (nice to have a kids pool separate), and it is only a 15 minute walk into the town center. We were really happy with our stay - thanks to all the staff at Now Amber Resort and Spa!

Short walk from hotel
We booked a tour with Estigo Scooters/ATVs. Steffi and her husband are friendly and professional. Their location is on the main street a few minutes walk from the gate of the resort. I highly recommend taking a tour with them.
