Relaxing vacation

I loved this hotel. It is clean and beautiful for the price I paid. The service and the food are great. The best part is that no one tried to sale me time share. You can get jet skies and other water activities right off the beautiful beach. It is further out from the town so you do not have to deal with the traffic and noice. There is a marina near by (few minutes walking distance) that has many restaurants if you do not want to pay for pricy hotel food. I had a great time.

Time-saving tip: Not Applicable

When you get out from the custom, there will be people outside trying to "help" you. They will ask you what hotel you are staying at and "guide" you to the hotel counter. It is just a time share scam! Save yourself and just go straight out of the airport and get a taxi/bus. The hotels do not provide shuttles.

Most relaxing hotel stay

This hotel was exceptional! We really enjoyed our stay here. **HOTEL PREMISES is literally 20 steps from the ocean water. After swimming at the beach, you can rinse off and go into the pool, which is literally steps away. The hotel pool is huge, warm, and inviting with an awesome bar island, where you can access it by swimming to it. You can check out towels, floaties, or volleyballs without being charged. They also have a separate kid's pool area and jacuizzi. There are more than enough chairs for everyone and their services are amicable and professional. We accidentally brought beer bottles (when there was a sign saying not to bring in glass to the pool), but instead of taking away all our beer or telling us to bring them back to our room, the waiter told us about it and brought us cups instead so we can drink our alcohol still and enjoy ourselves by the poolside. My favorite was our time spent in the ocean and pool. Time just slowed down as we enjoyed ourselves outdoor. **ROOMS are incredibly clean! We stayed in the least expensive room too and the view was so nice (despite not being a beach view, but every room has a balcony). The tiles are so clean they squeak when you're on barefoot. The linens/sheets are all white and spotless. The pillows are amazing! I've never slept on such comfortable and fluffy pillows before, and the bed just makes me pass out. The only thing I was disappointed about was that they didn't have small fridges, even in our friends' room (which was the most expensive room at the hotel: an ocean view suite). They do have in-room mini-bars though (which may be why they don't offer small fridges). **SERVICE was speedy and everyone was so nice. The best part is that employees here do not expect tips, so when you do tip them they really appreciate it. Most employees are fluent in English, but they get more cheerful when you try to speak Spanish so every little really makes them smile bigger. The people in front of the hotel will get you a safe taxi to travel in (the yellow ones). The hotel concierge people are not pushy at all and let you decide what you want to do; they simply provide information based on what you're interested in. When you exchange money or pay in any other currency except for Mexican Pesos at the hotel, they will ask for a copy of your passport (don't worry; this is simply a process for which they have to provide to Mexican government). The waiters/waitresses are amicable as well and do not overbear you with friendliness. We felt very comfortable. **LOCATION is 5 minutes from the airport and 10 minutes from downtown. Next time visiting Puerto Vallarta, we will be coming back to this hotel no question about it.

*Las Casitas: shrimp ceviche is a must! *La Estancia: breakfast buffet (made to order food and pozole soup is so delish!). Although it was pricey for breakfast, everyone in our group thought it was really good. *Pool bar: ice blended alcoholic drinks

Best Time... EVER

I LOVED this hotel. I went down to Puerto Vallarta specifically for the baby sea turtle conservation program that the hotel has. The location is gorgeous, staff is wonderful, rooms are clean and the food was A-MAZ-ING. The breakfast buffet is the most elaborate, comprehensive buffet I've ever seen and everything was fresh and delicious. The baby sea turtle nightly release was life changing and I will always support this hotel because of the efforts they put toward conservation. I got to witness a momma turtle laying eggs on their beach and got to hold baby sea turtles and release them back to sea. This was the #1 thing on my bucket list and Casamagna made my dream come true! I HIGHLY recommend staying here.

Always good

Have stayed at this venue in the past. They have maintained their professional and courteous presentation. The Marina Vallarta location is perfect for my needs. I love to fish and golf. Both opportunities within short walking distance. Shopping and dining opportunities also abundant. Hotel also very close to airport. Cheap bus fare to downtown etc. also a great perk. Weather was hot and humid and i caught a 500 pound blue marlin! Life is good in Puerto Vallarta!
