Outstanding stay
We just returned from a wonderful two week stay at the Marriott in Puerto Vallarta. Located near the marina, the hotel is quite and only about a twenty minute ride to the excitement of the town. The rooms are clean, comfortable and generous in size. What sets this hotel apart from others is the friendly, accommodating staff. Without exception, the waiters, bellmen, pool attendants, chambermaids, front desk clerks and concierge go out of their way to serve your needs and be helpful in any way possible. My only complaint is the weak, uneven wifi service.

Great times at Casa Magna
Great venue and location. Staff polite and professional. Have stayed there many times in the past...still competitive with other hotels at same level. Wanted a breakfest meal at 11:01 AM..denied because that menu ended at 11:00AM! "Garden view "room got sights and sounds of hotel next door's kitchen! Paid for upgrade to "ocean view" last 3 days. Much better. Price of bottled water brutal! Paid for 2 rooms(Brett Bowersox room also)

Best Service Ever
Even though the weather in Puerto Vallarta was poor due to Hurricane Jova, the staff at CasaMagna Marriot was just the opposite. Only Disney can compare to the level of service and friendliness of the hotel staff. Even the Hurricane didn't dampen the spirits of the staff. The express check in was seamless and done outside when we arrived. No lines and no waiting. The grounds are well kept. The rooms are clean and well organized. They were professional in every manner and every department from the gift shop to the restaurants. The food was good, but at hotel prices. The location is next to the Marina where you can find alternatives to the hotel restaurants. The pool area is clean and the water temperature is perfect. It was an overall great experience even with the poor weather.

Perfect Relaxation Location
The staff was so accomodating. Never waiting on a cocktail...great restaurants- breakfast buffet was amazing- yes a little pricey but well worth it. One hour free wi-fi in the deli- be sure to ask when you get your morning coffee! The outside of the hotel is a bit dated but well maintained. The rooms have been updated- very modern and comfortable.

Great Vacation at Marriott!
Quiet, quaint, great location, and accommodating staff. Definitely enjoyed every minute of our stay. Tip: Book your hotel with the breakfast buffet. It is excellent but costs 250 pesos per person if you pay separate for your booking.

Victor's Place is a five minute walk from the hotel into the Marina and is a FABULOUS restaurant and bar. Victor, the owner, treats you like an old friend and constantly brings you shots of tequila and will take them with you! Not too often do you see a gentleman in his 60's put back 10-15 shots of tequila in an hour! Food is great, location is right on the marina overlooking the boats. Try the mixed fajitas ... Excellent!!
