Golden Crown Paradise Resort Puerto Vallarta - All Inclusive Adults Only

There were two couples. Front desk very good. Good value for money. Went to town for dinner most nights, which was fun and inexpensive. Everything was good except enertainment staff would not allow us to move any of the shaded umbrella to make our pool experience better. Too many vendors on property and at beach.

We were really excited to be delivered a drink as we were checking in, but after that we had to beg for service! We paid extra for a jacuzzi on our balcony but not worth it! It was full of sand and cobwebs. Food was very unimpressive, they made it all sound so great but we were not impressed at all...even the deserts were pretty blah. You had to sit at the bar for at least 5 minutes before you could get a drink-and there weren't even other customers, we even tipped every time but it did not improve service with any of the bartenders at all. Stay away from information desk all they want to do is sign you up for the time share presentation. If you want to relax go to the pool because the beach is full of peddlers and one tries to show you something at least every 2-3 minutes.

We had a great time liked the location. we've done a few all inclusive this was the best food hands down to date no buffets all off menu that changed daily. Staff very friendly maybe a little under staffed compared to some of the other places we've been but not a big problem would do it again

I really enjoyed the hotel. It was quiet, relaxing and peaceful, with more than enough amenities to choose from. The spa was EXCELENTE!!!!! And the staff, were warm and accomodating. They really make you feel at home. I loved every bit of my stay there. I look forward to returning very soon.

Never been to Mexico before, and our expectations were low based on some of the feedback in the review area. We were pleasently surprised by how easy it was to take full avantage of the all-inclusive nature of the resort. Staff was friendly, free shows/nightclub was decent, food was decent, and the FREE city/countryside tour was great. Puerto Vallarta seemed like a nice little town. Overall value was excellent. We will definately return with our kids in the adjacent resort.

My wife and I just got back from a week stay at the Golden Crown Paradise. We found the staff friendly, the drinks were top shelf, the rooms were clean, and neat, just never knew when room service would show up. I would give this hotel a 5 star rating except for the food. Don't get me wrong, it was ok, but not great. I was glad that we could use the Paradise hotel next door. They had a omlette bar in the morning, which we used everyday. We also ate dinner at there Italian Rest. Overall we had a wonderful/relaxing vacation. Plan on going back next Feb.

This is one of our best vacations we ever had.We were looking for relaxation and we accomplished this plus more.

The Golden Crown Paradise Puerto Vallarta was a great place to stay. The location was perfect for us - close to the airport and downtown - and on the beach. The room and bathroom were large enough for us and the view from the balcony was wonderful. As others have stated, the bed was very firm as were the pillows. Our rooms was always thoroughly cleaned - even the balcony! The staff was friendly and courteous. Upon check-in, you were greeted with cool, scented towels and a refreshing fruit punch. Beware, however, when you are invited back to the concierge desk to find out what you are entitled to - they want you to come to a sales presentations for time shares. I loved this place and would definitely go back.

Every day was a struggle with housekeeping. They would come early in the morning right after we left for breakfast and take all of our towels. They wouldn't make up our room or at the very least bring us clean towels for at least 6-7 hours. Almost every day when we came back to the room to shower and relax a little before supper we had to go back down to the lobby and wait for them to do our room. Twice i had to go looking for someone to give us towels because they didnt give us enough or the right ones. One day i had to go to the front desk to see if they could have our room made up. after an hour of them still not doing it i had to get a manager involved so we could get ready for dinner that night. Other than them it wasnt a bad place to be

This was a great place to get away for R and R. Good location-close to grocery store and flea market. The pool was very nice. They had a variety of activities (water aerobics, volleybal, etc). We didn't know it was rainy season so instead of blue, blue water we got brown. Only one major complaint-the bed. The bed was hard as a rock.
