My sister and I really enjoyed this place. We went for beach and and pool in the warm sun and that is what we got. The food was fine, not fantastic. The beds were fine, not rock hard. The wait staff and everyone in PV were very helpful. The facility was very clean and the whole city of PV was clean for that matter.

Hotel is old and run down. Grounds were clean, and food was fairly good overall. The specialty resturants were nice and staff was very friendly. The room was sad though. We had to climb over the toilet to get into the shower. The sliding glass door lock was broken, and the air conditioning eas really just a vent with a non stop banging noise. Bed was rock hard and pillows were about an 1" thick. They threaten fees of 40.00 and 100.00 for lost remotes and safe key respectively. After 3 trips to exchange remotes we gave up and on finding one that worked on either ancient tv. Only a few channels in english and no movie channels or wi-fi. The beach vendors are not stop and do not respect your desires to be left alone regardless of your wishes. I wouldnt recommend this place to a friend. Just sayin.... NOT WORTH THE MONEY!!!!

The hotel is only couple of miles from the airport and right on the beach. Short walking distance away from Marine Terminal and $5 away from downtown. Their "Deluxe" rooms are best option if you want to see and hear ocean waves. But make sure you don't get 1st/2nd floor since view would be blocked by beach bar and not worth the upgrade over standard. Out of their fine dining options, Salvadore's has the best staff/atmosphere. Do ask for some "Spanish coffee" for a desert - you'll see a great show of flaming alcohol being poured in between various containers. Oh, and beware that their "Information Desk" staff will actively try to invite you to a timeshare presentation.

The hotel is conveniently located near the marina and the airport. It is an older hotel with some "deferred maintenance," but the staff is great and the ala carte restaurants were good. It was adults only, with a companion resort next door that had families. We love our grandchildren, but appreciated the fact that it was for adults. We would stay there again.

This was our 6th year at the Golden Crown Paradise and again we had a great time. The staff are very hard workers and do their very best to please. We thought that the service at the restaurants in the evening was a little slow this year taking between 2 and 2 1/2 hours to eat and that the food was not as good as it had been in past years. However, this not deter our enjoyment at this property. The value is excellent and the accommodations are comfortable. We highly recommend this property.

We love this place, you will not find a better staff anywhere. They are always smiling and ready to help you any way they can.

The service and food, overall, was superb. Our concierge was so friendly and helpful. Housekeeping was amazing. The bartenders were great and creative! Food was terrific! Some advice: Get a YELLOW cab from the airport- ignore everyone as you leave the airport, walk past the white cabs and take the yellow. It is about 8 bucks. We paid $50 when booking our trip for the shuttle, and it was a total pain trying to figure out what to do. The timeshare people, leaving the airport, are very aggressive. Also, the shuttle brings you to the hotel but then the concierge desk is really a timeshare and they push you to "go to breakfast" which is really just a timeshare pitch. Refuse! unless you are interested in buying a timeshare. It is such a waste of time. Also they give you a free massage but the people at the spa are rude, and there are 2 massage places next door much better and half the price. I would definately go back, the place is so clean and the staff so friendly. Bring a lot of small change, it is difficult to get small change to give little tips if you wish to. (not necessary, but you may want to leave a dollar or two here and there. They are happy with american money for tips! Also buy your zip line and boating tickets at the door, not through the hotel, it is cheaper.

You can't beat the value of this hotel for the price. The service at the restaurants and bars was excellent. There was a person taking drinks at the pool, which made it very convenient. We ate at the Paradise Restaurant (upstairs) and Paulie made us "sexy coffee" (aka Mayan Coffee), which was awesome. We've only seen one other place that makes this rare coffee, as it is more of a theatrical show than simply pouring coffee. We loved the idea of an "adults only" concept - no screaming kids! Our only recommendations are that lively music should have been played at the pool area and a buffet needs to be set up every day for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. We could go to the hotel next door for the buffet, which was good; however, you're in the middle of many kids. Overall, we had a great time and will definitely return to this hotel.
